As a product designer I can tell you it is not R&D that is the issue with them constantly using button cell batteries. The issue is safety, using mains power whether it is by USB or a wall socket requires a crazy amount of health and safety regulations to be sold in the West, testing for inference alone is a major hurdle. If, like many Chinese factories, they bypass a lot of these tests (paying the right people etc..) they can end up with a potentially very dangerous product, think of the cheap USB leads etc.. that have caught fire charging phones overnight for example. Not only would this be a legal issue but would completely ruin their reputation and a lot of collections, possibly lives. Button cell batteries, unlike Lipo batteries are not known to be destructive or dangerous, yes they may leak some acid if left in too long but this normally only results in internal cosmetic damage and can usually be fixed with some wire wool/brush scrubbing the contacts, so large rechargeable bases are also an unattractive option for them.

That modification was awesome! The Black Widow head wasn’t as good but the Pepper one was an awesome fit, expect with her hair hiding the empty space around the neck and armour.

Siiiiiiiick! Love what you did there with the sculpt. It really does look good and with a small paint correction on the neck it would work really well with the IM3 Potts. Black Widow looked surprisingly good on the Rescue body. Love the creative looks and videos. :D

I got my first diecast Iron Man with the Mark 43 that I bought for my Hulkbuster, and there's a marked difference between that and the plastic Mark 6 that I bought for my brother a few years back. I'm not sure I'd want to get a non-diecast Iron Man, or Woman for that matter!

@@Ajxskyline All he told me was that he had a extra female phicen body that was damaged and he decided to cut the neck attachment that would fit with the Pepper Potts head sculpt. Then I asked him which body number or specific name and he freaking never responded after that. I feel like you I wanted to give it a shot but without knowing which body he actually used, it be a waste of money and maybe your time. He you here anything let ne know my friend.

Nothing extraordinary IMO. Just another Ironman figure with different color. And don't worry, they'll reissue this.
