I definitely think the upcoming Integrated suit figure from Hot Toys will definitely be a better alternative for the Iron Spider figure as it's just the black and red Upgraded Suit with the gold nanotech on top of it. *While Peter didn't use the pincers with the Integrated suit, it's still a nice addition.

I simply love the idea of the Iron Spider, in the movie, it looked extremely cool! But not being able to pose the figure any way you want because it will hurt the costume, well, is ultimately self-defeating, it sucks that the material would be damaged over time if left in a certain pose for too long, most Hot Toys figures suffer from the same problem, it's not a very desirable thing you want in these high quality and expensive figures, you WANT to put them in cool poses and leave them like that, or you might as well buy a figure at Walmart which is made entirely in plastic and some are very poseable, and it won't cost you a ton of money, but hey, if you like Hot Toys figures, no one's gonna stop you from buying them, just be very careful with them and be aware of their limitations. One of the few Hot Toys that I feel simply doesn't work with soft goods. The suit itself is not cloth, there's no reason for this to be covered in soft goods, as a result. Also a shame to see that the waldoes are not accurate.

I highly doubt that will happen since he gets rid of this suit in the upcoming Spider-Man movie. Plus, no way they could do this in die-cast and keep it looking like it's a full suit like he wears

I have this figure and I'm a poser, I don't like museum poses, so I have it in a pose that doesn't hurt too much the costume but it looks dynamic, I'm gonna leave it like that for a month and I'll see what happens to the costume after that time, I don't mind a few wrinkles or marks (I'll tell you what happens) and I wouldn't say that a few wrinkles would be damaging the suit after all I won't sell the figure, so I don't mind if the costume stretches, it will always be in a pose so it won't be noticeable, What's the point of having articulated figures if you can't have fun in doing poses with them, I think with caution and patience you can, otherwise I'll be buying statues. BTW: The instruction of how to attach the webs in his shooters are wrong, but you have to put the web between the shooters and the hand, that's why that flat part of the web is for.

Hot Toys should've made a Iron Spider statue, instead of a fully articulated figure. That's why I didn't get this figure, and it's expensive. I'm getting the Mafex Iron Spider figure instead.

@@Webslinger2005 The iron spider can be posed pretty nice, I had mine in a dynamic pose for a month and after another with a relax pose the suit is perfectly fine and ready for another pose, I have pictures of that.

Hi Mate! Just a thought, purchase a 3rd party Peter Parker head and drill it out a fraction and it may sit lower on the neck... Although Hot Toys should have addressed all the issues you have brought out!... The suit should have been a dicast as it was metal in the movie!... Having said that though it would have had to be jointed and just possibly too hard to achieve at this stage with such a sleek design! There were issues with Thanos as well such as the large gap around the wrist and the bulge at the elbow joint when bending his arm, really unsightly! Not sure what the answer is with some of these issues maybe Hot Toys put it in the too-hard basket... A great review...Cheers Mate!

you have to calm down and realize that this figure was announced and planned way before the public knew anything about infinity war. These were based on whatever information they had at the time, which could have changed by the movie release date. That's why you have inaccuracies such as Stormbringer's hilt/handle being curved and 2014 thanos having an infinity gauntlet. IDK if you were having a bad day, but man you really need to calm down.

I love the quality but as a person who scared to even own a figure such as this let alone be able to afford one. I don't know if I could honestly own them due to the fact that any damage or mishap would bug me. And that's just me I guess I'm weird about that kind of thing don't get me wrong I still want one but watching your videos helps me get over that I guess anxiety if i did own any hot toys. It's not the same mask. The mask he took off was made of fabric. This mask is a hard plastic and is supposed to imitate his nanotech mask which isn't accurate.
