Hot Toys Batman Arkham City

Hi guys its Ric here , welcome to my channel TheReviewerKing formerly known as TheClipperKing . I review mainly 1/6 scale figures or toys if you will :O) by companies such as Hot Toys , Enterbay , Blitzway and sometimes even custom pieces . I now have well over 300 uploaded videos on my channel so please be sure to have a good look around and please like , comment and subscribe to my channel but I should also warn you that many of my videos are not suitable for children and carry an 18 rating . I would also like to say that I try to remain brutally honest about the items I review and with my opinions in general .
The items I review and collect would include such things as movie versions of most of the latest Marvel films including .....Spiderman , X-Men Wolverine , The Avengers , Iron Man , Hulk , Thor , Captain America , Hawkeye , Black Widow and others .
Also DC Comic creations such as ...Batman , Superman , The Man Of Steel , Joker ,Bane and Catwoman .
Also other Sci-fi characters like Predator , Terminator , Robocop , Alien , Dredd , Star Wars .
And some other iconic movie characters like ...Godfather , Scarface , Indiana Jones , Darth Vader , Luke Skywalker , Rocky and Rambo .
And from the world of music the superstar Michael Jackson from Thriller , Bad , Billie Jean and Beat It .
NBA all time greats like Michael Jordan , Kobe Bryant , LeBron James , Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin
Although I don't yet have my holy grail figure which would be Muhammad Ali

I enjoyed the review mate. I just gots to say in the games defence, you can forget button bashing once the guys with guns - shields - Electric batons and knives turn up. The game just eases you in before the shit hits the fan. And if you play it on hard mode you don`t get any warnings before you are hit and have to fight multiple enemies while also watching around you ( Always mind your surroundings ) to make sure the guy with the baseball bat does not crack your skull open whilst you`re in the middle of a sick 63 hit combo. While the upper body poseability ain`t great i think we all already could tell that from the prototype pics. The paint apps on the gauntlets is poo and after going back and playing the game a bit last night i see the cape is all wrong, but i still don`t mind this cape. As hot toys have proven many times before, it could have been a whole lot worse. I really don`t see people being massively disappointed with this figure. It`s a beast.

Great review. The figure looks amazing, but I like unhindered articulation on my Hot Toys. I love when you said "Articulation Murderer". It's a shame the articulation stinks, but it looks good.

Some good points raised Ric and have to agree ,? marks all over ,i had it on order but pulled out because i wasn't convinced on the issues and life of the figure . Good review ..CATCH YA!!

Thanks for the honest review mate. Got the figure ordered as I am a Batman fan but have to say a lot of what you said and have shown in the review has me switched off about a lot of the parts. Those gauntlets are brutally bad and cape is pants. Thank god Tony Mei on the case already.I was not expecting much anyway articulation wise just from the prototype images.

Batman is my favorite super hero but like you, I passed on this one because articulation is the huge reason why I collect hot toys. If I wanted a statue I'd buy this. Hopefully the Ben Affleck Batman isn't this bad in articulation if Hot Toys produce it. Good review

Such a low score. I woulda never thought you hated Batman this much lol. I am only into movie figures with actors likenesses. This was a nice figure, great review, but not a figure that interested me or would really fit in my collection. Cheers

pretty much same things i felt about it, and i am a big fan of the games and i was pissed off with the poor decisions in this figure. it looks like the bulk is coming from the suit when it should be the other way around which would have fixed the articulation problem and on top of that because it is rubber, to me it would hit the likeness since the game had more of a material look than rubber. so i have no idea what they were thinking when they made this figure, i am just hoping enough people give enough reviews with poor scores so hot toys can get their shit together and make another one but done right because we should not be paying this much money for something so lackluster.

Clipperking, I'm not sure if you have been made aware but you thought down on the games fighting system and I would like to point out it alone revolutionized fighting systems as we seem them. The last Spidey game used it as inspiration and shadows of mordor straight stole it and put a sword in hand. It's the number one selling point as this is how batman fights. Im just Bummed you see it differently. Maybe with a different perspective you could like it.

shadow of mordor didn't steal it, it's done by the same company (Warner bros) who co produce the games with Rocksteady.
