I've heard several people mention that the Bruce Wayne sculpt should have blood on it. But y'all are forgetting that there was a not insignificant period of time that his face was perfectly clean while he was trying to talk Selina down before she scratched him.

It's true, it's just that the ripped cowl represents a battle damaged look. And it's an intense exchange when she scratches him. So I'd have preferred the battle damaged look go be battle damaged lol but I like that it's a clean sculpt because I may also use it to make a tux Bruce option when I want go display him cowl on. So for that reason I'm not too upset hah

I wonder if the new Bruce sculpt means they're gonna make a new Bruce figure...wouldn't it be hilarious if they did another armory for this movie

I definitely would not want him scratched because it limits display options to that one specific scene (and I say that as someone with the Mars Toys Mr. W. figure)

Since I am a newer collector I missed the preorder window for Batman 89, I feel that the Batman Returns figure will fill that void and I will be happy to have it as my Keaton Batman. This is turning out to be a good Batman release weekend! Great Video Ben! As Bruce Wayne said “Let’s get nuts!”

I wasn't collecting 6th scale until the last couple of years so it was an easy preorder decision for myself given I'm one of those people you mentioned who like the sequel even more than the first movie. I picked up the Mars Toys Bruce Wayne recently, so not having a 1:1 reissue of the prior release with the additional tuxedo Bruce Wayne works well for me. I'm interested in the Jazz Inc. Catwoman but I fear the price is going to be astronomical. Mars Toys has been teasing their non-licensed Catwoman so it will be interesting to see if we end up with potentially 3 companies releasing Catwoman in the same year after we have been waiting and wanting one for a decade.

It's Deluxe all the way for me & and I'll be sending off the headsculpt for a custom face blood paint job. I must have this Keaton look opposite a battle damaged catwoman.

I'm definitely getting the deluxe version one hands down let's not forget the flash version or the old man Batman figure should be dropping soon. plus I believe catwoman by hot toys will be announced I trust the HOT TOYS version more than anything by jazzinc .

So, I have v1 single pack of the Returns figure, but I also bought the 2 busted cowl pieces and the Wayne headsculpt from the 2 pack on eBay shortly after launch, and I’m still picking this one up. The interchangeable diorama base, the glider wings and the updated headsculpt with rolling eyes pushed me over the edge to buy this 2.0.

So far I've done a good job of only one figure per Batman (not suit, but actor). I prefer the look of 89 over Returns, so that is my Keaton Batman.

I like your logic, I've been making the same point for many years; collectors should factor in the time and enjoyment they've had with a figure when they decide to eventually sell it on. If you've had a figure for 5 years, having paid £200 for it, and sell it for similar amount today (even taking inflation into account), is it really such a disaster?

Same here, not many put value on the time enjoyed. It's a continual oversight in this FOMO environment. Yet people will pay 10-15% more to get a new release early.

I pre-ordered it about 9 years ago, then they released the 2 pack after I ordered. I always wanted to torn cowl. Cat woman and Penguin would have been my 2nd and 3rd figure but hot toys never released them. (Ordered the deluxe of this reissue the other day) I’ll Oder Jazzinc and have a Batman Returns figure for each of the deluxe Catwoman pack.

The keaton sculpt and diorama are crucial here for me. As for the figure itself, I see little improvements, if any at all, from the 1.0, which cape aside, has held up very well. My only nitpick is that the skin tone needs to be more pale on both the Keaton head and Batchops, which your side-by-side illustrates.

I never picked up the first HT Batman returns & regreted it,so I preordered it.Same reason I picked up the HT 89 Batman 2.0 because the first is too expensive.

Today is officially Batman Day, so Happy Batman Day 🎉 Also I agree we may get something today. Batman Returns is my favorite movie so anything from it is so sweet. I already order two deluxe of this 2.0 because I’m using both bases for my display. I’m in on the deluxe two pack with Jazzinc as well so another Catwoman from Hot Toys would be cool. We are eating well as Bat Fans❤ 🦇

Friend , this look it’s accurate to the scene , catwoman scratch his face after he ripped his mask so you can argue that this looks it’s just before she damaged his face

Very true! But If they are gonna go battle damaged look and this is a 2.0, why not do it! It would have even helped preserve the first version more. The only benefit is now I can use the Sculpt and make my own tux Bruce instead of going mars toys! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!

I just got the 89 2.0 yesterday. All the texture drama greatly exaggerated in my opinion. I will be ordering the deluxe and already have the modern suit ordered. 5 Keaton Batman in my collection lol
