If you do not yet have an Iron Man figure in your collection, and you just want one, this might be the one to own (I'd add the 1/6 BD85 and Mk VII to that list as well). I already have the 1/6 version of this figure, so I'm passing, but congrats to anyone picking this up, it looks incredible

Hi Justin, thank you for your nice review. I just wondering how Hottoys design Mark 4 should pad this time is articulated ball joint design or spring design. I’d rather hope Hottoys keep their articulated ball joint design on should pad just same as they did on 1/4 Mark 43, 42, 45. Unfortunately, I just arrived to Secret Base in person and I saw Hottoys did not apply ball joint design on 1/4 MK4. What Justin you prefer?

This looks amazing and will be an immediate purchase for me. I do hope Howard and the HT crew listen to you about how to handle the floor plates. As you know, they have already done other properties in 1/4 scale (Terminator, Batman, Joker, etc,.) but I wonder if their past Iron Man QS figures sold better than the other pieces.

Personally, I hate the basic base. To me it looks like they didn’t even try with it. I feel like it should at least light up or something. That being said, if I were Hot Toys, I would make a basic one for the standard edition too so more people bought the deluxe version. Also for the price I wish it had some diecast parts in it.

I'm a bit disappointed Hot Toys is reusing that sculpt for the 3rd time. Tony had that fight with Rhodey but for the sake of screen accuracy, he never had those cuts on his face. I would've rather paid a little more to get a fully unmasked, screen accurate (if Hot Toys truly meant to portray the donut scene) portrait with the sunglasses.
