The LED usb power is definitely the way to go for me. Yes it would be cool if they have a small rechargeable battery inside like ZD Toys, but still the body of an 1/6 figure is quite complex so I can understand if the engineering cannot make it happen. Most collector will probably display their figure on their desk or in glass case. Even with cell battery or rechargeable one they will still have to replace the battery or take the figure out to plug in and charge. Now with the switch of a button all the light and effect turn on and the small price to pay is a little wire management

Super awesome figure! Personally, it’s one of my favorite suits in the game. The suits lights shine so aesthetically in-game when it’s dark or snowing. Quite worried about the Pleather though, a video covering pleather-care would be fantastic!

Justin thanks for the review but I would have loved to see more about the USB feature. How long is the cable? Can we use our own cable? Could we see it plugged into a port in your cabinet? I’d like to see how all this works so we as collectors could plan more for our own collections. Wish you’d gone into more detail about this amazing new feature. Very happy I picked up this *Miles Morales*, never played the game but the suit is *futuristic* looking so I can't complain. It reminds me of the *Arkham Knight* suit in terms of the helmet, which isn't a bad thing.

Ha yeah! The second I saw it I thought Spiderman: Daft Punk edition too! And yeah I think the raised printing is a brilliant lateral solution to getting zips that don't need to, er, zip at the right scale. Unlike working zips that instantly give the 'doll' game away as they need to be big/study enough to function.

After seeing your videos and you pointed out about the display stand making Mark's on the side of the figure. I went back and looked at mine and sure enough they leave Mark's in them. So I took the clip off from being on the sides and made them go loose around the leg to hold him up. It works and after a bit the Mark's on the figure popped back out and went away. Definitely dont leave it in that clamp for a long time.

How comfortable would you feel with more dynamic upper body posing on him? I'm very interested in this one and I've looked at him like 3 times at a local shop but with him being my first spiderman I do want to make him at least semi dynamic for posing, I know the rubber legs are bad for wrinkling but will the jacket cover up any long term damage? Side note: what other spiderman figures would you recommend that you'd feel confident posing longer term? I've also been looking at the ps4 scarlett spidey suit figure

It's about bloody time with the usb power. Hoping this forever signals the end of batteries with hot toys. I've had my figures fully wired for a long time so cables aren't an issue though they could make them thinner for sure.

A micro USB interface instead of a USB-C feels like either someone at Hot Toys is having a huge laugh at our expense or someone wished for a plug-in interface on a Monkey's Paw and this was the result

Was waiting for you to do this one since I saw it was released overseas. Kind of letdown by the lights. I thought they would be brighter than that. They don't pop as much as the prototype images. I don't mind the cable having to be plugged in all the time but I'm worried about how long lasting that effect is since I would not open the case to turn the effect on and off on his back. I would unplug the cable to turn it on and off. Also wondering how you would run that out of a detolf without it being noticeable. I am interested in this as someone who isn't a huge fan of Miles but am of Daft Punk and the 80s style. The design is an awesome clash of Spider-Man and dance music. I just can't see it appealing to that many people and know that if I'm patient, it's probably something that will go down in price. The shoes also should light up like the game. I'm a maybe on it right now. Thanks for the review as always man!

Eh I wouldn’t say micro is dead. For just delivering power, USB-C is a complicated way of doing it that requires a special chip in order to communicate with the adapter. USB micro is just simpler.

Great video! He is actually not from the game but is featured in it for a suit as you all know. He is from a variant comic cover that just got reprinted in 2020 I believe. I think it 1st came out in 2012 I think and a reprint in 2021. Its been a grail book of mine since It was 1st done. the artist is Razzah and the issue is Iron Man #12. I'm sure somebody mentioned it. I am deciding which hot toys to get and missed this on release and its on amazon so I figured I'd check some reviews. Thanks so much for yours. it def helps me decide whom to add. can you remove the jacket fully ? if it's possible i wanted to put a better coat that is made by a friend on instagram that makes Incredible suits for 1/12 to 1/6 . Might not be able to though . I'll def still get him to go w/ my comics and funko pop of it . Hopefully Marvel Legends does it soon .

I would of liked to have seen the LED on his head without plastic cover. Is the illumination stronger without it or pretty much the same? I'd definately would prefer rechargable batteries vs. need to have usb cable plugged in. The decision to use micro usb vs. USB C isn't a big deal IMO. I'm pretty sure the figure doesnt need a whole lot of wats to power on and the head of the micro USB is smaller so does fit with using figures to not stand out as much. However It is a pretty dated solution to have the cable needing to be plugged in all the time. If ZD Toys can utilize a rechargable battery system with their 1/12(?) scale system why can't / didn't Hot Toys? It actually should be easier to implement for a larger figure. Very odd decision IMO. Although I don't see cable management being that much of an issue. The figure does look good. Thanks for vid!
