That repaint is beautiful!! I got my Robocop 3 on order and don't care about the jetpack. All i cared about was that it was the original Peter Weller face plates. Now, i'm reconsidering my case choices.

I’m glad it has inspired you! Since I’m not the painter, I’m afraid I can’t give you the colors that were used-other than the matte black. But if you search on YT, there are a handful of RoboCop repaint videos in which the artists may talk about the colors they used.

The repaint is definitely the best! I may at some point have my 2 original figures repainted but for now they still grab my attention every time I go into my display room 🤯 thanks for sharing looking forward to more from you, Happy New Year 🎉

Hi! The repaint is amazing and looks sssoooo accurate. You would think hot toys would have learned already. It’s been some time now since you posted the video. I actually tried to look up the Somata blue paint but only vinyl wrap shows up. Would you know if the paint actually exists 😓. If there is a color code or something. Anything would be appreciated. Once again, congrats on an awesome figure repaint!

Thx for watching! “Somata blue” was something that I found to use as a frame of reference for the video. For the actual paint job, I think the artist used layering techniques with an airbrush, based upon the other Robo paint videos you can find on YT. Those videos usually feature the application of bright blue and purple paints, but I think my artist must have used a darker color, like gunmetal, as well. Hopefully, some painters will see this thread and chime in.
