Cool review, but in my opinion I think the DX head sculpt is far superior, it does look younger, but it looks more like Arnie. Should have bought this when it still available for retail.

117 is the way to go is what I personally think, though the accessories sure do make this figure, but I have seen a few people selling them separately on eBay I might just pick them up there

i have to admit, hot toys does a fantastic job of recreating the characters, terminator, robocop, marvel heroes, but i just don't have the money for these figures

The biggest difference are the different eyebrows. I see that the noses are also different. I find the that the 117 is a better looking figure but you can also say that the dx10 is a younger variant.

Excellent review Spot!! I had the MMS117, got rid of it and bought the DX10, but regretted it big time. Thankfully I managed to reverse things and now I'm chuffed to have a 117 again. Arnie was approx 42-44 when making T2: he looked very craggy at times and so I believe that the 117 does a much better job of capturing his facial features and his age at the time. In addition to that, the clothes just seem to hang that bit better on the 117. The DX10 makes Arnie look like he was in his mid twenties and there are only a few sweet spots when positioning the eyes: get that wrong and the likeness plummets.

Did you ever pick up the DX-13? I feel that is probably the best Terminator figure in any scale from any company. Hot Toys really nailed the likeness in that one, and the battle damage details are so good.

To me the DX Arnie just looks younger. That and the slightly poofy hair ids what I think makes it look off. The head sculpt on the 117 is better.
