I’ve had the dx13 for a long time and I’m still picking this up, the sculpts are just better enough that it’s worth picking up. My outfit hasn’t flaked but I also don’t really handle the figure and it’s not in direct sunlight. I have the dx10 also but I’d welcome an updated sculpt for that too…..what I really want is a new Dutch 🙏

I had the T-800 battle damaged from Terminator 1, but I had to sell him years ago. Always regretted doing that. For this guy, I'm seriously considering picking up 2 so I can have him displayed both ways.

This was a day one preorder for me! I love the first 2 Terminator films, they are sci fi classics! Hope Hot Toys see that there is still a lot of love for T1 and T2 and hopefully we get more Terminator figures in future!

Had a quick inspection of my first Judgement day figure and the 2.0 battle damaged ..the only thing that peeling is the belt..

Because it cannot, it's not pleather, it's a PVC/Vinyl mix. The only Terminator jacket that ever flaked of all releases was the MMS238

The DX13 is a fine set, but the figure itself isn't as great as it's made out to be. The likeness is good, not great. The portrait looks far too young, and the skin tone is way more tanned than how he appeared in the film. The physique and proportions are also off. This new release pretty much fixes all of those inaccuracies. My only criticism is that the endoskeleton parts need to be more shiny, less muted.

So who gonna tell this wannabe collector that the dx10 was made of real leather and the dx13 of a rubber leather composite and neither had flaking issues apart for their belts

None of the Terminator releases other than the Tech Noir and MMS238 ever flaked though lol..the DX10 was real leather and the rest of the T2 figures had a vinyl/PVC mix jacket so it could not flake at all. Only the belts were pleather.

I gave up John Wick 4 for this 😭 personally I hope they change the endo skeleton to chrome instead of that flat metal. Interestingly I kept JW4 Cain lol
