I'm thinking about either getting this one or the KO version. One specific question I have: Is the The torso armor still detachable from the body? or it's not advisable since the body's light up feature is kinda soldered into it?

Sorry I don’t have the first avengers Thor. I would say because they use same ball joint l. But the hair in the back might hit his collar.

@@optical20 high quality have no words it was $300 but so worth it I was at the comic store at universal studios in city walk and I was have such a hard time what to get a captain America on a rock or this captain America was 150 plus taxes 200 I was thinking go big or go home let's do this came out like what did i just do lol umm that was a lot of money but am a collector so it's really worth it and it's big too great size

Great video! I do like mine but will never use the lights in the chest because they are too outlandish for my taste, if they didn’t have the lightning attached, I might use them. I’m not one of those collectors that hates the different types of effects as I’m using the lightning on his arm guards and I usually use the fire/thruster effects on my IM and Fett figures. This Thor desperately needs a wired cape which was the first mod I did on mine and the armored arm articulation is absolute garbage. I have him posed holding Stormbreaker with both hands as high as possible but the middle of the handle is right in front of his face; it’s definitely not ideal. I’m not giving up though and will find a way to get him to hold it higher even if I have to break those damn arms. Obviously, I’m not hoping to break the figure in order to achieve my desired pose but also would be ok if that happens because I’ll then remove the lightning from his “chest circles” to achieve my ultimate IW Thor. Also waiting on the custom Stormbreaker that’s more in scale with the one that was lodged in Thanos’ chest (you should have gone for the head) 😂

I would love to see that custom Storm Breaker. Yeah the articulation is disappointing but I am kinda used to it by now.

optical20 Yeah I’ve become used to the limited articulation as well but it still bothers me that some iconic Thor poses can not be achieved with some of those poses not being limited to the electronic torso. For example, there is absolutely NO way to get him to hold Stormbreaker straight above his head because of the limitations in the arms, yes you can get close, but it will always be that 1/2cm off to the side. Also, I found a fantastic solution to the light up circles on his chest; I bought an extra set of the circles/lightning parts, carefully cut the lightning off the circles, used the lightning around Stormbreaker and other parts of his body which look really great In my opinion. The set I found only cost me $15 and I’m able to appreciate the light up without being limited on poses even more by the attached lightning. Anyways, the custom Stormbreaker, I feel, is going to look great because of the size accuracy, the handle accuracy and the light up.
