Antonio Torres If he acted unlike Thanos, I'm pretty sure the director would say "cut", and tell him to do it again(even giving instructions of how he wants the actor to portray the character better). That's what normally happens, you know. An actor only needs to do what the script says, in a way the director approves and that convinces the audience. That's it! If every actor needed to "have a character's mentality down" to do a good job, then most of them would be crap, because most actors know nothing about their characters(they don't read comics, or play video-games, etc). There had moments where actors even admited to not understand the motivation behind their characters' actions, and the director said "You don't need to understand it, your character does".

He is the voice actor for Jarvis, yes.
