Nicely done review, I like the use of a neutrally lit background not overly bright or dark. I can really see all the details of the figure especially the head sculpt. Your use of a additional moveable light really shows off a variety of lighting conditions which reveals even more details of the face. Great honest review straight too the point with no droning on.

Thank you so much for the kind feedback! It really makes my day that the details like the background and the lighting did not go unnoticed. They may not look like much but they are deliberately chosen. So, I thank you again for your appreciation~

Wonder Woman Saint Seiya version! That headsculpt is the best of Gal HT came out so far. It really looks like her albeit with a bit of chipmunk cheeks imo. The armor and wings does make for an impressive display. I do share your worries about putting on the helmet on bare "skin". I just got Alexios from Dam Toys, and his helmet just goes directly on his head not a barrier whatsoever between his hair and the helm. Thankfully he's too pretty to have the helmet on all the time so I just have him without.

Saint Seiya!! Wow, that's one of my all time favs. I can't believe someone would reference it here! Imagine if Diana starts burning her Cosmo... And excellent choice with the Alexios! He's definitely too pretty to be wearing anything over his head lol. I'm totally regretting not picking up the Damtoys' Assassin's Creed line because I thought the HT Ezio was enough. Man, did I bet on the wrong horse 😑 As always, thank you for watching!

Not a big fan of the face but it's looks so cool!

Agreed~ I feel like Gal Gadot is quickly becoming the new Harrison Ford for Hot Toys, where the likeness is never quite right...now matter how many times they try. If she destroys her own figure on live TV, then the circle will be complete 😁 Thank you so much for watching!!

Hi great review, may I know what is the overall length of deluxe wingspan when spread wide?
@ElbearToys2 жыл бұрын
Great question! I don't have the figure displayed with wings at the moment, but I dug up my notes for the script which stated that the total wingspread was a bit over 26" (something like 68cm). And thanks for asking! I remember measuring this but forgot why this tidbit didn't make its way into the video. Anyway, hope that helps~

@@ElbearToys wow that's wide, I'm still waiting for my pre-order and also preparing for a close acrylic box for display. Great help for me :) thanks!

Very nice review! I am kind of ok with the head sculpt being a little off. Otherwise, it feels a tad creepy having a complete look alike 😊

Thank you so much! That's a very good point. I guess I never thought about how creepy it would be since not a single 1/6 head sculpt had ever reached 100% likeness 🤔

Over $300 and you can pose it.....for a few minutes, have treat it like it's going to break.....shf version is just as beautiful at a quarter of the price

The SHF version is certainly very good looking. Though I'd argue HT and SHF are 2 entirely different niches of collectibles. SHF takes pride on the superb articulation and playability, but the joints are always visible so there's never the concern for wear and tear over seamless joints or costume. HT takes pride in photo-realistic portraits (they crash and burn sometimes lol), and sustainable poses eventually have to take a backseat just so the overall figure looks like the real deal. In the end though, it's like having the right tool for the right job. If you're constantly swapping from one dynamic pose to another, go with SHF. If you want a wax doll museum on your shelf, go with HT or 1/6 scale in general. The most important is that the choice is available to us collectors. I have a few D-Arts, Figma, SHF, and Nendoroids too and I love 'em. Thanks for watching~
