HWM has taken me through so many seasons in my life. From my teen and young adult years of angst, to my now 40-something married with children life. Inspiring me musically, always pulling at my emotions, and always pulling me out of ruts. Your music often brings me to tears. Thank you guys for creating a wonderful soundtrack for life.

So stoked to see Chris with Hot Water. This is everything
@XOChristianaNicole2 жыл бұрын
Well, if this isn’t relatable.. Coming out of nearly a decade of being bedridden/housebound - my friends in Hollywood had got me into Hot Water Music, shortly prior to my becoming severely disabled. I lost all my guitars - except my very first one - in the Paradise, CA wildfire, Nov. ‘18. Being unknowingly autistic, I had learning disabilities, growing up - and had a very difficult time, learning to play the guitar (God bless my instructor, Jamey). However.. Everything I went through showed me pursing my passion of music was exactly why I was and have gone through, what I have and am. Been ordering my pedals/board, mic, interface and such, over the past few months. Just got word - today - my new Ibanez I ordered back in December, should be arriving this week.

Heart is with you friend, their music is the soundtrack to self liberation & is nourishing. medicine. Rest deep and allow the universe to provide support wherever it is needed. Along with your music therapy (which is what it is for all of us) remember to pace your self consider making an ep. If you have originals allow them shine. Yet if you do find that some covers inspire you simply learning them can be incredibly restorative. This one would be a great addition. Take it slow and steady invigorate soothe and getting you in a state of groove I find that playing those can really awaken your dormant skill Of course am this isn’t medical advice and consult with doc yet check the aip (autoimmmune paleo protocol) intermittent fasting, slowly entering cold showers after a good warm bath with magnesium flakes. The blessing of disability is that the friendships you do eventually discover will be there for you for life and you gradually will discover your soul tribe. None of this is medical advice keep up with your current allopathic care, yet consider the possibility of a functional medicine or regenerative medicine practitioner to augment your current care. Consider listening to people like Ben greenfield, Brett Lloyd, Georgia Ede, Cole Robinson, Elliot Overton, Jack Kruse. Low histamine paleo intermittent fasting is incredible. Ofoucrse also go to an Endocrinologist and Regegerative Medicine doctor. For functional medicine make sure they work with peptides, ancestral diet, biohacking lifestyle & that they coordinate with your primary care doctor. None of this is medical advice and feel free to disregard all of it. These folks know how to combine lifestyle, diet, and only utilize medicine in the most conservative manner. Of course allow your primary care doctor to guide you, yet first let your heart be your guide. See with a grain of salt, don’t to me either am simply sharing what assisted my recovery from mononucleosis. From one HWM fan to another, you know your body and what’s best for you in the quiet essence of your being, love your heart and never follow, HWM is more than a band they assisted in developing a personal ethos. This song is awesome yet when you can listen to “It’s hard to know” of the albums “No Division”. The lyrics summarize the best philosophy & attitude: lead a life the best we know … it's hard to find your way through the darkness and it's hard to know what to believe but if you live by your heart and value the love you find then you have all you need … to run, don't follow, lead a life the best we know … let's talk about an independent stand let's talk about freeform thought it's not about living under command so don't get caught … I get knocked down and then I get back up live your heart and never follow! I speak my mind you can't cover it up live your heart and never follow! I'm picking up the pieces as they break and fall live your heart and never follow! I take on every day standing up, standing tall live your heart and never follow! … live your heart and never follow! Gratitude

love this video. the idea that a new song by a band thats been around for nearly 30 years could not only get someone through a really hard time but also inspire them to create their own music is so heartwarming. props to Jesse Korman!! also is it just me or is there a hint of Claudio Sanchez influence on the vocal end??

@@benjaminkitley-hassenger2669 I guess man. Wollard doesn't even bother to tour with them any more though, so you tell me. Why keep the name? Go listen to Live at the Hardback and tell me its still the same thing, spiritually.
