Once upon a time i installed one of those on top of my homes gas hot water heater, it had a pilot light that would burn up a dollars worth of fuel per day. After i installed the portable unit, my gas bill for hot water was about $12 every 3 months, saved a bundle of money.

Howdy!!🙂 I had a shower tent. It was years ago. I know it was simple consisting of a tarp and a bucket of water!!! Wasn't too fancy, it was private and it done it's job!!👍

The on demand hot water heaters are fantastic for off grid. We have had ours at our remote cabin for many years!..Enjoy☺️

Yes! I had a "permanent mount" propane on demand water heater in my house. I was living alone at the time and it was perfect -- lots of hot water, as much as you want, and sippin' fuel. Actually not perfect, the propane company said that I wasn't using enough propane and made me pay a tank rental fee (come on, I wasn't using the tank to support a bird house) as well as the little amount of propane it used.

Regular hose fittings work on that one. I've got the same water heater and love it.

Leave it outside of the tent, unless the instructions say it can be mounted in a enclosed space. Appears the top of the unit is an exhaust for the propane it uses. Can you set the tent next to be bus beside the heater? Glad you have hot water potential. Wise investment!

It's really great how someone can make a nomadic lifestyle using off the shelf readily available things, solar panels, batteries, the diesel heaters, this on demand water heater, and lots of other things. It's amazing actually.

Just move your tent closer to the bus.That way if you need to sit down you have the ladder to sit on. Good luck with the outside shower.

Just make sure you drain it if it freezes, I wasted one leaving it in the trailer when I left for a few days and didn't drain it

Better than a store bought shower any day! Get or make something to stand on so you aren't splashing mud back onto yourself.
