Carp are sensitive to big changes in temperature so when you catch one in hot weather, you need to be extra careful. Follow these simple steps to make sure you minimise the thermal shock and stress to your capture.

Also it’s best to leave the carp in the retainer to recover first after it’s long and tiresome battle especially in the hot weather
