Nothing against the Skyline but that Mercedes is sweet. I also agree about the doors opening. It just adds a little more. Thanks for showing !

I hear you about the opening door issue, but Mattel would only whack another £5/$7.50 to the models to cover costs and you just know that it would be poorly constructed by them as a result. I think if it was done like the Welly or Maisto models, there wouldn't be a problem, but someone would look for a problem. I do miss models like Burago where you could unscrew & reassemble cars to detail them more thoroughly.

For what its worth and just my 2 cents here, Like I posted today i got the amg on ebay for 14 bucks with free shipping. I don't see these being worth anything really in the future as I dont see them really selling well. Im going to get all 10 of whats out right now but if they dont sell well and they stop producing them, then I see them in the future of becoming collectable and maybe worth more. Guess we'll see. As a heads up, if your buying hotwheels as an investment based on what they might be worth in the future its a guessing game unless you buy rare ones now. Its going to be hit and miss and no real way to tell if its going to be worth anything if at all. If you want to make money on them just buy the mainlines that are popular now then sell em on line for way more. Get the money while the interest in them is high. Same mainlines I saw that were selling for 20-30 bucks last year I can get now for about $1.50 online. Remember, supply and demand. thats what makes them rare and expensive.
