HOT WHEELS id | 2 LANE DRAG RACE

Race Day! Time to Drag Race all of the Hot Wheels id Series 1 cars to see which one is the fastest! The track is a 2 lane scale 1/4 mile with 2 Hot Wheels Race Portals at the end to calculate the scale MPH of each car before they pass the finish line. Let's see who takes it!

I just recently got back into collecting and playing with Hot Wheels again with my grandson. I had been trying to find different ideas for tracks I could build and I just gotta say I really enjoy you guys's videos. They have inspired me and helped me get the creative juices flowing. love the track !! but if the portal is closer the speed would be higher, or raise the start higher. I had mine 4 ft 6 inches high and they were flying down breaking the 300mhp mark . My son and had a blast. i love the support you have under the tracks

If you put two "pods" on the same lane & they were electronically connected knowing the exact distance they were away from each other (such as pre-determined lock-in points) it could track the mph of any hot wheel/car/truck without a chip. I imagine the ones you purchased don't have that capability but it couldn't be that far from what is already produced with this technology... Anyway great video as always, can't wait for the next one!

Just picked up 11/12 mystery Hotwheels. They are beautifully done. Maybe you could pick them up and do a king of the hill, racing 2 at a time. Would be interesting to see what the top car out of the lot would be.

Not really fun when you don't give each car a chance on each lane; seemed like lane one was stacked. :( When there's a bump at the bottom of the ramp like that, things get screwy with the physics of the cars. Also, sun was on one side of a plastic track(that's gotta affect things). You guys should consult an engineer to make things more accurate as far as who's really fastest. ;)
