YES! Those are the wheels that should have been on in the first place. I also noticed that bad ass blue galaxy with the white top that was on the shelf. Whooweee! Sweet!

Thanks for the tip about the acetone. When I open a car, I save the card and save them (I file them kinda like the old card system at the library. This will work way easier than what I have been doing. Sabin for Dementia DieCast.

I normally take a cotton ball cuz I find it's a lot easier to control the acetone and how quickly I can get it saturated..... I pretty much did the same thing with this one but I put a clear coat over it.....

Thanks a lot for your videos. I am a old collector and did some customs in the past. Now i have to move to another country and my entire collection stay in Brazil. I want to do something like you do. If you don't mind about the screws, i really don't like self tap screw. I like the way you do using that kind of screw. what are the measurements, type and tools to make the hole and the thread? Again. Thanks a lot

Would like to c u try a different technique instead of selling out the base. I use a soldering gun put it directly in the middle of the rivet it will heat up the plastic enough to separate the be from the body. To put back together i use a small round file and file the home just a lil wider to put back together and if u did it right it will click back together right and not have to use any screws it will make the base look completely factory looking. I do this instead of screws to keep the base stock looking with no damage to base.
@DiecastGraveyard
@DiecastGraveyard 2 жыл бұрын
I’m not particularly fond of that style. And I never try to make my car is look like they’re from the factory. That way there no one can ever say there any car that I sell or make for anyone is anything other than a restomod a Restoration. Just my opinion brother
