@@MrMack1622 , yep. Plus Royce was on Joell's last project as well. Then Crooked I uploaded his verse to the same song. Then all 3 of them were just on Em's album a month ago. Joell for some reason is just the least in the media among them. I think it's just more his decision than anything. He was on Sway's show for an interview last year I believe or tail end of 2018, if it wasn't last year for his last album. But I didn't see him out there much more than that. Just the way it is. You got Joe and Crooked both have pretty well known podcasts that are on YT and Royce has been doing the most music work between them all in recent years and been pushing this album extremely hard on the media front, which is great. Joell just comparatively, seemingly isn't doing as much on the media side. Maybe things will change or maybe he just don't want to be in the spotlight for the moment. *shrugs*

This man is criminally underrated. Yo, its funny how some artists make the best music when their high, drunk or coked up. The "happy accidents" that occur in the studio. But when they get sober it actually hurts the music and the artist doesnt kno how to feel the passion wo the substance. 5 9 is opposite of this. His music and lyrics just keep getting better n better. The last 3 albums were gems. Now add "The Allegory" to the gem dropping. BTW way better interview wo Ebro. Hes cool and all but Rosenberg and Laura held it down. More calm, less talk over your point to get my point out convo. Miss Juan Ep.

I’m trying to think other artists that music gotten better sober??? Em made his best music high, but he also made his worst music high as well. He’s made some good music sober. He’s definitely not the genius who we all came to love. 🤔 I have to think on that. I don’t count Mac Millers “The Devine feminine” because it was a mixture of high and sober. Interesting.
@joshuaha76614 жыл бұрын
@@jwood8769 What you meant is you think Em's music is less catchy when he's sober, or you just like his older sound better, but as far as genius lyrics go? He's evolved into a much more talented writer since he got sober, especially recently. His crazy next level wordplay started with Recovery and Mmlp2, so i can understand if you like old Em better, but he's without a doubt a better writer now. Content wise, and just pure lyricism.

With all due respect, I know the intentions are good, but I have to comment and say Mac was in deep active addiction and couldn't even admit how seriousness his addiction actually was, so I wouldn't say it was just a casual unlucky instance on the evening of his death. He was deep in the void and the text messages released by the courts showed the pattern of risky behaviour and addiction during the recent relapse. Again, I know the intentions are good here, this is a great station with integrity, I just feel like we have to start taking the drug/depression epidemic seriously. Kids really think there isn't a risk every single time they use or don't realise how life threatening their patterns are. Love and rest in peace, the great Mac Miller 💙 🏊
