I'm crying just watching this video he is such an amazing talented human being for him to be abused , bullied and just hearing how terrible his life was for him to become this successful is a miracle nobody should hate him just because he's a white rapper. For him to get constantly put down and mocked he wrote inspiring songs for people that are in the same situation as he was being bullied or abused if I ever feel bad about myself and hate myself I listen to his songs like not afraid and guts over fear. Not everyone is going to like him but I think that he deserves all the respect

+Veldon Steele you're kidding right?! "All he raps about is BS?" C'mon now...
@tassima69739 жыл бұрын
+Veldon Steele Even though your 10 and can't spell penis, I'm gonna hit you with some facts. Eminem had been proven to be the greatest lyricist of all time, and he has the biggest vocabulary in rap. He always changes his flow (his best in Relapse) and his rhyme schemes are incredible. Listen to Stay Wide Awake, or something on his newer album, Legacy, which has an amazing 2 verse same rhyme scheme. And Raw (2015). Incredible word bending skills. His lyrics are genius, plus he had skills of many greats that he looked up to. Like Big L (One of the best freestyles, very similar rapping styles), Big Daddy Kane (One of the best at Multisyllabic rhyming) and many more. He is the best of all time. I have more reasons why if you get back to me.
@semenmendoza62719 жыл бұрын
+Tassima all of those songs were nothing but just helping depressed people.
@tassima69739 жыл бұрын
Veldon Steele Wtf are you talking about? Stay Wide Awake tells a story about Slim Shady, Legacy is about him being different as a kid and rising up above that. Raw is him being himself with Royce. You obviously haven't heard an album by him.

For a dude who never passed the 9th grade, Eminem is a genius . He literally read the dictionary & kept his words in a safe to create his art. Actually better than just create it he pretty much just made himself a role model to other rappers that actually are trying to make it & not like these wanna-bes that just say "niggas" & "bitch" on each line. Just straight genius .

@shadymamaakgraham37698 жыл бұрын
Hello..- other equally crazy Marshall Super fans...Greetings from Alaska. I mean NO offence to you by commenting about your post , none at all- so please don't take this wrong. What you said at the end..."Now that's one dedicated father.:)....for some reason that hit me like a ton of bricks...bricks covered in bull s**t!?!***? To me it sounded like there's a possibility that a majority of the public may be under the impression that your level of dedication to your kids....is even an option to have. Dont get me wrong because I know that in this day and age any kind of family at all is a blessing to have. So many lost, broken or just f**king battered hearts out there that it borders mass hopelessness. I agree that the love for his children is very truly commendable, ...especially given the shaft of a childhood he had. But I'll step out there and venture a guess that he doesn't feel like he needs it, to be praised for it I mean, because if he feels as a parent like I do.....it just feels natural. There is no question in it at all, no room for any kind of doubt about what to do or even a thought of what the next right thing to do is....there is only the one possible way to see being there for your kid...kids. Unconditionally. Without a single doubt or fear I would follow my children to Hell if that's where the edge of the world took them. Even if an eternity of searching was all there was or Hell would take me instead...what im getting at is that without a doubt it would be my honor, my gift, my pleasure to do that for my kids. Any one of them....and plz tell me if Im mistaken, but isn't that the way it's suppose to be? That's just one Shadymama's opinion. The shafted kids of yesterday are raising the strong leaders of tomarrow....Teach them to do the next right thing and you wont ever be wrong for doing it. Im sure your comment was meant to complement and I apologize if Ive went totally overboard. Thanks for listening. .....btw, LOVE u Marshall

I was 14 when I started listening to Em. I was a a white girl who seemed to be from an ok enough family 12:53 , but the trauma was deep and extremely hidden. I was abused mentally and physically to the point I wanted to die. His music made me feel like I wasn’t alone. I felt like I finally had an outlet listening to his songs. He helped me through my adolescence in a way I cannot describe. I’m 35 now and still live him as much as I did then.

I know the feeling, but for me, it was the opposite: the kids I attended school with were always the same students I started elementary school with. So they knew me and I knew them. All of them were very compassionate and understanding people, but a great deal of teachers were the ones who gave me trouble (except maybe 2 or 3). They told my parents I will not excel very well in academics because of my Asperger's or that I should not drive a car because they thought it wasn't in the cards for me neurologically, but I proved them all wrong. Boy, it feels so good to say that.

absolutely agree with that! also pac sold 75 million records in just 9 month's after he got bailed out of jail, and still had another 90 million $ of unreleased material he had written. where em has no where near matched that, as he's had 20 years to make the music he has done. Now if pac was still alive just imagine how many records he would have made and sold given the same time em has had in the industry. so you can't compare em to pac, as there is no comparison, even the material each has written pac wrote street poetry, full of political and social problems to educate ppl. can't say the same on em's material.

Javier Krämer Hey there, slow down a bit. If you don't succeed in what you're planning, you might at least want a backup. Like, a degree to get a job or something like that. Don't give me bullshit like “I was raised in a toilet bowl and my mom killed me 3 times pls feel sorry for me”. and when you fucking fail your exams you don't give a single fuck and say “Eminem can do it why can't I” you have no talent, kiddo. go fucking change your life and get better grades before fucking becoming a NEET and living off your parent's cash.

My parents introduced me to Eminems songs in like 2005, when we were going on a trip to Norway for skiing. I was only 8 years old, but i absoloutly loved that type of music, the vibe, his voice - everything. And since then, i've been so inspired by his lyrics, and my eyes has opened for the fact that music really speaks when things are hard to talk about. Love Eminem, my biggest wish is to see him live, which I never had

"I feel like it's your job to parent them. If you're a parent, be a parent." Marshall says it best. Stop blaming the source material for your awful parenting. It's not Eminem's fault your 10 year old little Johnny heard the word "fuck" and is now repeating it. It's your fault for buying the CD for him. There's a "Parental Advisory" sticker on it for a reason. Eminem is not at fault one little bit.

Say what you want about Eminem but it is undeniable how many people he has helped with his music and sharing his life story. Some of my darkest days were spent listening to his music. If I was angry, there’s a song. If I was sad, there’s a song. If I really wasn’t sure if I could make it, there’s a song. If I just needed to feel goofy and say fuck all the rules, there’s a song. Listening to Eminem made me a better person and probably saved my life. Stand up if you feel the same, all my real Slim Shadys.

He's not just the best rapper. He's a centerpiece of prevailing in life full of challenges. His life story may sound like a miracle, but in reality, he put every ounce of his soul and passion to understand the science of the craft he aspired to. Not only that, but breaking the cycle of parental abuse and trauma. That's an incredible achievement by itself.
