I disagree with Chris Brown's opinion of what should win a Grammy. It's not about sales, or Billboard or popularity. I think it's SUPPOSED to be about the ART. More specifically, the Art of the Music. Winning a Grammy cause You have the most popular single or album is like McDonald's winning culinary accolades. You get what I'm sayin? However i DO agree with his opinion he feels like,"FUCK THE GRAMMY'S." They've never (IN MY OPINION) really had credibility when it came to Hip Hop or RnB. And I can go on about that FOREVER. I'll just sum it up with a previous statement I made on another video :"WE NEED OUR OWN. AN AWARD THAT WE HOLD IN THE SAME REGARD OR HIGHER REGARD. S/O out ALL LOCAL Awards. From the Justo's to the Oklahoma Mixtape Awards in my home state to EVERY independent or local Awards nation wide."

we do have MANY award shows, but these big stars do NOT attend. i remeber watching the soul train awards and seeing whitney there still in her prime, mid 90s. even when usher was there in 2004 performing yeah. but these beyonce's and Chris Browns and Kanye's of the world do not attend our award shows. when was the last time beyonce touched the bet awards stage and performed? 2009. but she was at the grammys and the vmas and billboard awards since then.

Well last year Usher,Nicki,Breezy,Pharrell ,and Trey Songz performed/attended the Bet Awards last year and they the biggest urban stars in music right now and that's a black award show. Also, Breezy did the opening performance at the Soul Train Awards last year. So I wouldn't say that the Chris Browns or the Kanyes don't attend or perform at these shows.

chris brown attend and perform at any and all award shows, beyonce and rihanna are the biggest female in urban music, and yet they do not attend these award sows. the point is, black artists do not support their own award shows, but want the mainstream awards. jay z doesnt go, kanye doesnt goetc.

Not all big urban artists don't support. As I said,Other big urban stars like Chris Brown,Usher,Nicki Minaj perform/attend the mainstream award shows (Grammys,VMAs,AMAs,BMAs,IHeart Radio) but they still show up and perform/attend the black award shows (BET,Soul Train).So tbh it's just Beyonce,Kanye,Jay and Rih that act like stuck up pricks that only attend or perform at the mainstream award shows but shun the BET Awards or Soul Train Awards. TBH if they not gonna show up at the urban award shows then the urban award shows should not even let Bey or any of them win.
