the fact that memes were going around about RZA being a wack producer, people saying he hasnt done anything good for 10 years, then he had bad auto the first half and didnt even include some of his biggest beats, and still the general consensus is he won even for people who picked Preme. Lets all appreciate the genius of this man.

A wack producer???? I never saw that! But its true he hasnt really produced anything that solid in the last 20 years as far as rap goes. The peak years for Wu are 93-97. That was when Rza was potentially the best producer in Hip Hop. Mentioned in the same circles as all the greats. Dr. Dre, Havoc, Q-Tip, and Pete Rock.

Huge disappointment. One of the most boring versus battles ever, I thought hip hop was about that competitive spirit these two dudes come on and literally just played their songs and barely spoke, they might aswell have had an intern play the songs. Compare this to Snoop- DMX, bounty killer - beanie man etc..
@seand.hendrick-djs-26363 жыл бұрын
@@mrhussain9008 are you for serious? How old are you? Hmm. They went banger for banger. First off, neither of them are mainstream, nor would you have heard many of their songs mainstream. Again, they went banger for banger. Were you not listening? They told stories I, and I'm sure many more, loved hearing. They could've not played music and just told classic stories; the music would've been a bonus. These verzuz now suck. It was intended for producer vs producer.

No but the coldest part RZA beat Premier with his own Wu Camp beats and maybe a couple of other tracks like Nas and can’t remember who else. That in itself killed Premier. Premier should have started w his camp first Gangstarr then venture out to other artist. That’s a chess game and Premier played it sloppy not watching RZA game. The original B-side song of "Protect ya neck" is "After the laughter, comes the tears".......I got doubles on vinyl and I remember when they were hustling their music on the street. They were at Green Acres Mall giving out cassette tapes to everybody when "Protect ya neck" was first being played on the radio.
