Well the next level of mind blowing is getting asked to play for a Rap using classical instrument in one try in front of the public for the first time. She tried poking the guy that was sitting, but he didn't start the instrument. Eventually she took the lead, and then they nailed it. She is really really good

There's something deeply charming about watching an elderly Wu-Tang Clan, sipping coffee and finding their collective rhythm together - no pressure, no pretense, just remerging who they all are together, with the addition of a violinist and cellist to make the whole experience fresh.

@@epicon6 That's his first born son, it's not imitation, that's SPIRIT. Maybe he doesn't have the same skill set but he brings the energy that's missing in the Wu since Dirt passed. I've seen these brothers in concert too many times to count and I know personally you dont know what your gonna get energy-wise from them since ODB left us. Look at them in the background when YDB performs. Dirt left a void in the SPIRIT of the Clan. YDB fills that void. Maybe not for you personally, but definitely for the Clan and many fans. Peace.

For anyone who cares to read; I remember hearing the verse at 17:52 "working hard helps ya maintain, learning to overcome your heart-aches and pain" when I was around 14 (2010) and dealing with a suicide in the family and general confusion in life, it's crazy how that little piece of advice helped me out so much. In saying that, it's interesting how Inspektah Dek changed the lyrics at 18:06 : "to kick the truth to the worldwide youth" instead of "young black youth" because Wu Tang influenced me and I was a young Australian dropkick, going to show that they honestly did kick the truth to the worldwide youth, if ya feel me. Anyway thought I'd write that down...

Tiny Desk is literally the best music show of all time. I've always listened to a very broad range of music so getting Wu Tang from the same place that I get everything from Chris Stapleton to Natalia Lafourcade to anderson.paak is amazing. It let's me know that there are so many other people that simply enjoy good music as much as I do, no matter the genre. Keep doing what you're doing, you're beyond appreciated.

I'm so glad that NPR allowed all genres of music to perform. I love it at age 65 years old. Truly, it helped my stuttering son speak, no lie.
