My cousin struggled with sickle cell bad, the stories were terrifying. Luckily my aunt (his mom) did all the research known to man about this particular disease and he was able to fight it. He's now 18yrs old in college to become a doctor. One thing I wished was these celebrities coming together to raise awareness on this disease. We always hoped that prodigy & tboz would step up and really work on getting people familiar with it. My aunt did all that she could with little to no money to raise awareness. #RIPProdigy 🙏🏽

@2:19 and beyond is interesting because she stated that "she would always have this reocurring dream where she was on stage running from one side to the next in baggy clothes." That was The Lord SHOWING HER what she was going to become. Do you all believe that God can show you (whether it be in a dream, or a vision, etc.) who you will become in your life? Because for THE LONGEST TIME, since childhood, I have wanted to be in the entertainment industry. That was my VERY 1st dream...to be an Actor. And I STILL to this day hope that I will become someone rich and famous and be able to do that. But, my life is so far removed from that, to where I am beginning to feel like that was a pipe dream. And that, maybe that was not God's plan for me. BUT, I just feel like I can't let it go! (I've never had a dream while sleep, of being on stage or in a movie before. That would probably be like a precursor to my destiny. I know that Stephen Curry's mom used to have dreams about him being a famous basketball player...and BAM it came true. Also, the lady who wrote the Twilight Saga books had DREAMS about it, and then she started writing about it). So I don't know....I'm just thinking out loud and wondering why my dreams haven't come to pass yet. Or will they ever.

My Auntie. This sista *cares.* I believe it every step of the way. I no longer wonder why sickle cell disease has never been a top priority - black people. Now I get it. Sad, but true. Pebbles is somethin' else. See, they had low expectations for TLC from the jump. Clive, L.A., all of them. Y'all wouldn't have played Whitney Houston outta her money. Y'all wouldn't have played Monica outta her money. Y'all pick and choose very wisely. It sucks because of how much TLC generated, overall. These ain't no nickles and dimes now. Several hundreds of millions of dollars. Heffa still tryna sue them too. Ain't nobody lyin' on you, Pebbles. *You did that.*
