I'm using youtube for the first time to learn how to deal with a face I no longer recognize. You seem to be well informed and enthusiastic about makeup - something I've never really cared about until this 55th year of life. I wear eyeliner, mascara, drugstore foundation, Bare Minerals powder, and light red lipstick. After watching hours of your videos tonight, I realize just how little I know about my skin, available products, application procedures, and how I'm stuck in the past! I sincerely appreciate your time, knowledge, enthusiasm, and willingness to share with those of us who want to look better for ourselves and our loved ones. I've a long road ahead and will use your tools to help build a better look, Lord willing. Thank you, Ms. Angie.

I recently saw a lady in her 60's wearing heavy makeup like this. She had her toe nails and finger nails done in a bright color, and I could tell she put a lot of thought into what she was wearing. Even though it was "over the top," I admired the confidence that she exuded. She didn't care what anyone thought. In her eyes she looked fabulous! I wish everyone could feel that way no matter what age you are.

Funny story... about makeup and "older" vision.. When I was about 30 years younger, I was visiting my parents & stopped in to see my neighbor who was in her early 60's. She was getting ready to attend a wedding. When she came downstairs she looked gorgeous except for one "little detail" ;) She had mistakenly used her green eyeliner to draw in her eyebrows! I said "Barbara you look great but did you know your eyebrows are green?" She was so happy I stopped by to save the day, as no one else was home to tell her! Now that I am her age I think of that often and smile big!

Hello Angie! Your site was given to me by my oncologist because I am looking for a way to minimize eye bags as well as a product to encourage growth of eye brows and eyelashes. I have enjoyed seeing your demos - you do a great job! I am 70 years old and chemotherapy left me with bags under my eyes (something I never had before) and my brows and eyelashes are continuing to shed 1-1/2 years after chemo. My oncologist says you have another product like latisse which is less expensive. Can you mention that product? Thank you for your program.

I am 55 years old, and have learnt so much by watching your videos. My eye makeup, in retrospect, has been too much for daytime. So learning to apply a more toned down natural look has really helped. I have also been stuck in a time warp using shimmer eye shadow. Don't have all the same brands in Australia, but the principles still apply. Love your work!!!

Hi dear lady , your voice , clarity and presentation are all really excellent... thank you for all your work and helpful advice! hope you don’t mind -may I make a very gentle and polite suggestion please? Just one thing - Use black face cloths and then you won't care if they get makeup stains. Since I have an embroidery machine, I embroidered the word 'Makeup' on mine... One of those also goes into the guest room when I have female guests staying with me. Then they don't have to worry that their makeup will foul up my linens.

Great video! As I was watching, I thought "uh oh, I need to evolve with my makeup now that I am 63", especially since some of my makeup "habits" are the same ones I have used for decades (a bit too much gloss, bright under brow highlighting). I look good for my age and have taken great care of my skin for decades (on top of good genes), but what I think might look good when I look in the mirror might not look too swift to the observing eye. Thanks for helping me tastefully develop new makeup styles that are not only more age appropriate, but classy and natural as well!

This was a great video. Nice to know that mistakes can be corrected well, withOUT having to redo your whole face. Oh and instead of spraying the setting spray, try one or two spritzes on a small powder puff and just tap over your face. It takes down the powder nicely.

I love your tutorials they are very helpful as I am 50 years old and since I developed the maturer skin, I hardly ever wear make up for fear of it settling in my lines. A little tip for you though, I find using a lip liner (matt) in pretty much the same colour as your lipstick helps to not only stop the bleeding but also to make the lips look a little more fuller. That is what I do when I wear make up. Again I also stick with the matt lipstick because I feel the gloss just accentuates the lip creases. Keep up the good advice tutorials as I love them.

I often check my make-up at a big window. Natural light is sooo important and then often just use a dry towel over my face if I have overdone it-to tone it all down a bit-esp. too much blush or powder bronzer and even to wipe off wrong lipstick colour. (Towels are cheap to wash!) P.S.- I almost passed on your post because of your "don't", overdone make-up in your first shot! I suggest you immediately say that this is a "Don't".
