tried it this morning, like it very much! thanks! I appreciate your shoot from the hip dislikes of nearly everything, because when you DO actually like or merely tolerate something, it's often something I've really liked too, or it's something I will consider. I'm 60, got redness, bit of rosacea, occasional pimples, sensitive skin, allergies etc so what works for you is often a good pointer towards what may work for me. Thanks. And double thanks for not doing too much sponsorship stuff and saying when you were sent stuff because I generally ignore other you tubers who do too much of that. It defeats the purpose of listening to an independent opinion. If I want to read ad copy, I do so, otherwise If I spend 20 minutes on a you tube video it's because I respect that individual's opinions. Oh and as a side note per your trek towards the perfect foundations, I'm really loving that new cushion stick foundation by Estee Lauder. It's a new version of Double Wear, different formula. I like it and wonder if you may like too.

Love your videos! I just have to tell you, I'm in my late 20s and you are one of my favorite "makeup/beauty" gurus on KZbin! I find that we always have the same favorites so whenever I see you mention something new I'm pretty sure I'm gonna love it too! I find your techniques and product recommendations work way better for me than most of the younger girls my age on KZbin! Plus I hate how they light everything in their videos so you can never get a good look at how the products actually sit on their skin....I feel like you're legitimately making these to help other people and to show them how things ACTUALLY work and look! You are one of the few beauty you tubers that I actually trust! So please keep up all the great work! Very much appreciate your "realness!!!!"

I agree that baking making my undereye area makes it look much worse. I press RCMA no color powder into my T-zone with a damp beauty blender but I skip the undereye area. After everything is on my face, I use a light dusting of Hourglass Dim light powder to buff over everything including under the eyes and it looks great! Angie, I love you and your videos. You are stunning!

I am wondering now why I have never thought to look into beauty channels run by someone closer to my age demographic. I'm so happy I found your channel. This video and the other two I have watched so far have been not only interesting, but also very helpful. Thanks so much : )

Ivy Munro Agreed! I started watching a few videos put out by young, beautiful girls who wore more makeup than I'd ever consider. I have been all over channels looking for someone with similar issues and being 44 I'm finding myself starting to experience more wrinkles and lines today and for first time ever just tried a touch of botox and fillers mainly because I'm losing volume with age and although I'm absolutely thrilled with procedures I'm always looking for someone of same age range with awesome makeup techniques as well.. I'm very pleased finding and subscribing to your channel and not to mention I see we share quite similar opinions on same products as well also so I will definitely continue to follow and check out your review on new products and save myself time and wasting money, thanks again:)

I have heard of the baking technique, but didn't know what it was. I'd love to try it, anything to minimize those pores! The Bye Bye Pores powder looks similar to my Wet n Wild Mattefying Powder, although I've heard it's a dupe for the Nars setting powder. Thanks for the tutorial!

I'm with Shoshana 1610! Thanks for explaining baking. I never investigated it because I thought it was some long, drawn out procedure. So "baking" is just pressing extra powder into your foundation, letting it sit a bit, and brushing away the excess? Well, I can try that, thanks to you Angie! I think I will try it with a light setting spray, too. And as a bonus (for me), I'm so glad you showed how you use the NYX wonder stick. I'd been wondering, but was too lazy to search all the videos to find out how. I was surprised that I didn't see the new Neutrogena moisturizer on your list of products for this look. One more thing. We are going to the beach in a few weeks, and I am so prepared for the sun! Sun shirts for everyone, SPF cover up, 2 styles of SPF hats, big sunglasses, SPF lip balm, and of course a 55 gallon drum of SPF 50 waterproof sunscreen! lol ! My son moaned when I told him about the new sunshirts and sunscreen rule. I explained to him that we will be 11 hours closer to the equator. He has learned that the sun is stronger at the equator, so he got it. Thanks for keeping on message, Angie, It's getting through. Have a great weekend.

I still haven't gone out and gotten a sample of that foundation! I have so many right now and I like them (some a lot) but after seeing the transformation of just using your foundation on your skin, it's tempting. I use this method of powdering and it works pretty good but not on an everyday basis and usually only under the eyes, but I have to be careful because it can look drying or powdery. Have a great day and thanks for sharing with everyone.

Thanks so much for this video Angie, I have always wanted to try the baking technique but didnt quite know how to do it. My trouble is my marionette lines that go from the corners of my mouth to chin. I have tried the Nuface which helped a little to lift my face but so far nothing to get rid of them completely. So my search continues. Thank you so much for all your tips they really have helped my skin on the whole look a lot better. God Bless you, you look gorgeous

I find baking aging too. Instead, I use a very damp beauty blender and loose powder (BM mineral veil) to powder my pores away. It works. I try to keep powder away from my under eye area. I do not have dark circles under my eyes so I put very little product there. I think baking works for ppl with combo or oily skin. My dry skin looks ancient when I try to bake!

Hi!! Thank you for the tips:) I've always found that baking my undereyes, helped with the fine lines and creasing; but I never tried baking the areas where my pores were more prominent. I can't wait to try this tomorrow when I do my make-up!! I did notice that when I would apply my under eye concealer in the "triangle" shape my pores looked huge!! So I started applying it only under the eye, and it made a huge difference w/ my pores being less obvious. Again, thank you for the tips:)

I've been doing this technique for a long time. I leave it while I finish my brows, liner, et cetera, then "grind" the powder in with a kabuki brush. Doing this lasts all day, and spraying with Mac Fix + after, takes the powdery residue away. I immediately follow with UD All Nighter spray, and do not need to retouch powder the rest of the day, just blot with papers once.

I haven't tried this technique yet but it does look amazing on you, and I will give it a try. What I can suggest for those baking hasn't worked for, and what I have been using, is Garnier's 5 sec Blur Skin Renew Instant Smoother. A miracle in a tube for me! Literally blurs away those pores and makes your skin look flawless. I apply it after my skin care and sunscreen and before my foundation and can't believe the difference. Here in Canada it's about $13 @ Walmart. If baking hasn't worked for you, perhaps this will help you get that lovely porcelain look that Angie sports here. Wonderful video, Angie, as always. I haven't tried the RCMA No Color Powder yet, or the Bye Bye pores powder, but now I'm curious about the uber-expensive By Terry Hydra Powder. I have dry skin so I never bake, per se, but I have to set concealer and foundation, and my under eye area and pores could use some blurring.

Thanks, Angie! I also bought that IT Cosmetics TSV with the powder and blush, aren't that just awesome?!! I, too, noticed how well that powder hides pores but it also helps minimize the look of wrinkles, which I didn't expect. What did you think of the cleansing balm? I found it ok, I'll use it, but wasn't blown away. It doesn't remove my waterproof mascara at all, and some other balms and oils do. The concealer is great -- I always blend it with a teensy drop of oil or it's too thick. Thanks for the tip, love your videos.

That Chanel foundation is absolutely perfect on you! I can see why its your fav go-to. I stick with IT Cosmetics CC Cream myself. 1st I only use cruelty-free products and 2nd I get hot flashes and 3rd I take meds that have "increased sweating and flushing: listed as side effects, and they're not lying. (I had stage 3 breast cancer almost 7 yrs ago so I'm on quite a few meds to get in the way of a recurrence, that I'll likely take for the rest of my life and that would keep me in perpetual menopause. happy. Joy.) I love the SPF 50 right in there and, while its not the most coverage, it's build-able. It's a little flat and I've not had the courage to try the illuminating version. I feel Iike I'd like some luminosity, but don't need any help looking like I'm glistening (schvitzing!). Have you try the illuminating version? And if so, what did you think? Did you like it as much? I just got a NYX HD finishing powder and it's ok and I'll try to make myself use it up, but I'm so sorry I didn't just spend the money on the IT Bye Bye Pores Pressed powder. I liked that SOOOOO much. I do also like the bare Minerals Mineral Veil loose powder as a finishing powder and I really like their Mineral Veil Pressed Powder. It's a great touch-up to keep in my purse. I'm a devoted follower of Nisha and she often speaks of you. I'm so glad I checked your channel. really enjoying your videos!!

Some make-up artist says that the nars velvet matte skin tint is a dupe of chanel you use. I would love if you can try it.

I was wondering what the bake technique was and your tutorial just popped up so I watched it. Upon your recommendation, I've twice used and liked the Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet foundation, but don't have the IT Bye Bye Pore powder or blushes yet. I think I'll try the technique anyhow using my Bare Minerals powders for a dinner tomorrow night. Thanks so much Angie for your tutorial. I don't really have good contouring products yet, but I watched and love your tutorials on that. I suppose any effort will be better than my usual bare, old, face so I'll try to improvise. Wish me luck. I think the dim lighting will help a lot too...LOL!

I try your technique. I use Lancôme La Base Pro for primer and then I use Chanel lumiere foundation#040. I love it. It did help on the pore and make skin glowed. Thanks Angie for posting the video.

Can u try both or either the lancome pore blurring primer and the Elizabeth arden flawless start primer. I heard both are great for hiding enlarged pores

I use this technique on the days I feel my pores are as big as craters 😜 and it really makes them disappear. you should try using a setting spray at the end to get rid of the powdery look if you wish 😊

Any insight as to under eye crepe looking skin? I don't have bags or darkness, should I just be skipping the concealer/baking all together? I do want to highlight the standard areas, to brighten, but if I bake at all I add 10 yrs to my face because it is so crepe looking☹️ input from any and all very welcome 👍
