Strangers literally stop me and ask what I do for my skin, and I always say that I watch your videos and follow your lead. Who can argue with your obvious results? This video was one of your most helpful ever. Not only are your thorough and informed, you are an excellent teacher. Also, you have saved me so much money because you've taught me where to occasionally splurge and where you can save your money. Thank you for everything, Angie--your mentorship has been invaluable!

I’ve now entered my 70’s and have been searching for new makeup application ideas. What applied in my teens & 20’s no longer applied in my 30’s & 40’s,and so forth through the years.. (not to mention new/better products and how styles evolved). Now.. less really is better but sometimes doesn’t hide/cover. I use many of your suggested products and they definitely make a difference. Thank you for your teaching and ‘how to’ skills’ You say so much with so few words. (A skill I’m still trying to grasp). Blessing’s ✨💖✨ (Marilyn/California).

Angie this is one of your Most Helpful tutorials Ever! It's Incredible how much of a difference skilled makeup application can make in the apparent age of our faces. What an astonishing comparison! Thank you for your Detailed instructions & Most Especially, Thank You for discussing those Super Annoying inner eye "droopy" spots! You're the First person I've ever heard addressing how to correct them - or even acknowledging that particular problem area exits. As always , I especially appreciate your Honesty AND your advice for Improvement. Those "poofy pillows" are my biggest pet peeve about my eyes, because they're So Difficult to Hide! As with undereye bags, the peach tones of color correctors & white or the flesh tones of eyelid primers, all make those "poofy spots" visually protrude. The lighter colors meant for the moveable lid & that beautiful little dab of sparkle often used in the inner corners can also easily "migrate" onto those protruding "poofs" making them look Larger & much Worse. I'm So Glad to finally have a tutorial addressing How to CONCEAL these annoying little critters! Please keep us updated IF you find any better ways of concealing those troublesome inner corner "poofy pillows"?!

When I got Lisa's notification about the brush anniversary I thought, "No way! Have I had my BKxAngie brushes a year already???" Wow!The older we get the faster time flies! Speaking of older .. I have many eyelid "danger" areas at 72. My lid skin folds started about 65 and are quite noticeable now. Ugh. I appreciate your tutorials SO MUCH because you "get it"! I still follow what you shared on GMA about blush placement. The Dior Forever Matte foundation has become my #1 right now. I'm your foundation shade "twin" so I ordered 2.5N and it is perfect! Love it!

Easy to follow. The way you explain WHY you're doing things in a different way - in particular talking about how to hold your brush, and where you put colour and why - is so very useful. Thank you for making videos like this, and for doing them in a realistic way (rather than the over-the-top intentionally bad method other people have used to try to explain the same things). The "less ideal" side wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good. I really appreciate that.

Belated 60th Angie - Welcome to the 60's club! I am 64.5. Why do I put .5? Because I LOVE being my age. With age is wisdom along with the wrinkles, sagging, yada yada. What I have learned is that I am more selective about my makeup. I'm a skin care junkie - oils, serums, creams & the almighty sunscreen! I got my brows done - ombre powder and I am telling you - my brows are the absolute B.O.M.B. I design my face around my brows because when my brows are on point, the rest is easy! 1 darker bronze/brown, satin oyster mid eye and a touch under my brow. Done and ready to seize the day! Celebrate 60's and loving it! Love from Canada Angie!

I, like so many others, are so impressed with the amount of love and care you put into your videos, but I don't really like the way that you did the liner on the upper eye, on the optimal eye, your right, our left eye. the line is just too randomly placed, without being attached to the lid line for my taste. I def see the uplift that you are going for, but the liner just isn't quite up to my standards. I think you can do better. despite this, I am generally very impressed with your lessons. I am especially impressed with your sunscreen tutorials. I am watching them, and putting the ones I feel apply to my needs into my amazon account cart, and then doing my own research, to finalize the process for my personal needs. thank you so much for your mature and serious analysis of so many products for the ladies that are beautiful, but need some guidance. 🥰 you are such a sweetheart!

The application of blush I have finally mastered! The tip about the bronzer was from Wayne. He said you start at the top of the ear and that definitely puts it higher. The blush has baffled me but if you apply above the bronzer it works and the highlighter on the cheeks really works great. Since I mastered these techniques I get a lot of compliments on my makeup and I gladly take them at the age of 80! Thanks 😊
