No bullshit, I literally cried finding out DOOM passed and I can't even tell how how many more times after that either. I still feel his loss and it truly felt/feels like I lost a really good friend or uncle. That dude that you thought would always be around, that he'd still be spitting when I had kids, they'd grow up listening to him and have pops (me) tell them all kinds of stories. Then he was gone in an instant. I had three copies of a super rare, I think it was 7 vinyls in the box set of Operation Doomsday. There weren't many made, I sold it on eBay, and the day after I shipped it his death was announced. It was just insult to injury as that set went from being a collector's item to a beyond fucking rare collector's item worth four digits easily. I still have two of them, both sealed, but there's no way in hell it would have left my line of sight had I known that news was in the pipe. I'm still beyond gutted that he's gone. From KMD and constipated monkey shit to Books of War with the RZA, to Danger DOOM, Mad Villainy - DOOM was my guy. I have so many of his albums, both normal and collector's stuff, but I would give it all up in a heartbeat if it meant getting DOOM back. I appreciate that his name surged and people were exposed to his music, but I still have a hole in my heart from his absence. RIP in ALL CAPS DOOM, you've earned your sleep KING.

@@YukonJack everyone and their mum is commenting about DOOM, and fair enough, but dj shadow is awesome as well. I saw him live like 6/7 years ago and it was an amazing performance, definitely up there with other goat producers like dilla, alchemist, madlib, nujabes, etc.

@@EloiUwU DJ Shadow is an absolute beast. It was like 8-10 years ago and he won the World's Best DJ award. He beyond deserves it. I'm still heartbroken about Nujabes too. So young and even more talent. Das Racist did "rapping to You" and sampled Nujabes in a way that did him right. Songs to break up to by luvsik is a killer album too. You have to play the whole thing and give it a chance, it will change you.
