They were my favorite dragon riding duo in the show. Rhaeyns showed so much power and wisdom even beyond the battle field - her command for leadership, respect, and even empathy was powerful. Her and Meleys were the most experienced in combat and had the clostest bond. I can hardly breathe with excitement every time I watch "House of the Dragon," just waiting for Rhaenys and Meleys to appear! Rhaenys has this incredible conviction and authority that you hardly ever see. They are such an epic duo! Without them, I don't think I'll be as pumped to watch anymore.

Rhaenys' lines were always on point and delivered perfectly by Eve Best. The act of not fleeing from battle is her "order of things". A character of honour until the very end. Meleys must be very proud of her rider.

I am going to miss Rhaenys so much, and Meleys was a bad ass as well. Any other rider and dragon would have ran when Vhagar showed up. But they went head on with the old lady. I read the book and I knew it would happen, but actually seeing it broke my heart. May she be avenged.
