Yes cheese Dean Pal toast your bun under your Grill with your cheese then add your 🥵 Hot dog 🌭 fried onions on top more cheese then back Under the Grill for 2mins then Red sauce mustard and if you have chilli flakes some of that or chilli con carne/chilli mince buddy absolutely yummy my friend

I really need to go to M&S so i can try those. What brand of oven chips did you use? I found McCain have the best oven chips, the chunky 1s. Not had cream soda for years, we use to get the green American cream soda from the pop man as kids. This is such a nostalgic meal for me. Thankyou ❤️ xx

Green American cream soda, . . that's pretty wild because I'm American, over 50, have traveled and lived all over the country, love cream soda, and I've never seen green cream soda. We do have red and clear and I've even seen pale brown/tan cream soda here, but never green. Fascinating. Those sausages would absolutely not be called hot dogs in the USA. In the US a hot dog is universally pink, and never anything but very very pink. Honestly those look a lot better than American hot dogs. The mustard, if mildly spiced like the bottle says, would be perfectly in line with what we use in America. Of course we also have French, German, and other types of mustard here, but the standard is bright yellow, very vinegary and otherwise quite mild.

@@englisheats6894 it really is crazy isn't it. My dad use to make us an ice cream float with it every Sunday after our roast. He'd put the American cream soda in the glass then a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was our favourite thing to have and worth eating all our veggies xx

@@Sassqueen82 the natural answers here would be that someone who wants to sell cream soda figured out that if they called it American, regardless of whether it has anything to do with cream soda in America, it would sell better. People tend to have romantic ideas about far away places and certain things just lend themselves better to one place over another in the minds of shoppers. The other rather possible explanation is that there once was green cream soda in the USA, even if it was very briefly and/or in a very limited part of the country. That got imported to the UK and became more popular there than it was in it's country of origin. It disappeared where it was originally made but lived on in another country. If that's the case, it was a really long time ago because my 84 year old parents are just as unaware of it as I was, but it's distinctly possible.
