@@eaterdrinker000 I come from a middle class immigrant background in NYC and as a kid every time we traveled, it was always somewhere along the Eastern Upstate (for tubing/rafting in the summer and skiing in the winter). Can confirm this sketch perfectly captures every Howard Johnson/Ramada/Holiday Inn in that region. The five of us would book one room and squeeze an old exercise mat and sleeping bag in the middle of the two beds for my poor teenage brother - mgmt did not give a shit lol. And I thought continental breakfast was the most luxurious thing! You wanted yogurt? Wake up at 4, bitch
