Hi fam,
“Hotel California” has got to be my #1 most requested guitar solo lesson of all time, and I’m happy to finally put it up here for you. The jam track and TAB are available for you on the Guitar Fam site, and there are also a few new features in the video to help make learning faster and easier. Let us know what you think, and send us any other guitar solo lesson requests you may have.
www.guitarfam.com/songs/%22ho...
This song is excellent for working on bending and using pentatonic scales and arpeggios to play over specific chord changes. The best advice I have for you is to listen to the solo A LOT before even starting to learn it. Also, take it one measure or lick at a time. That will make learning the whole solo more manageable.
Have fun, and let us know how it goes,
Nate
-
If you are having trouble with any area of playing the guitar, book a private video lesson with me. The first one is complimentary, so there is no risk.
www.guitarfam.com/private-gui...
-
If you haven't signed up for the full complimentary Guitar Foundations course, do that here. It makes for a much more cohesive experience.
www.guitarfam.com/guitar-foun...
-
Purchase a copy of the Guitar Foundations EBook too. It's a perfect companion for the videos and it will help you progress faster.

*If you've purchased any lifetime courses from me in the past, you can just email me your receipt at nate@natesavage.com and I'll send you the Ebook for free!

I know someone complained about the “thinking”, but it’s awesome! Helps adds value to what you’re playing instead of blindly following a lesson with no context. Thank you, you’re awesome!

Yeah, there are probably a couple of hundred videos on YT that teach you where to put your fingers, but I like doing more than teaching people how to paint by number. Thanks for saying this and for watching.

This is just what I was looking for, in my opinion the "thinking" part is the most invaluable thing about this! I love the side diagram of what scale/ chord position we are in, it helps us improvisors know where we are meaning we could put our own stamp on it! Subscribed!
