Your video is the first one I've seen and useful tips you've given. My velvetiser turned up from Amazon about half an hour ago so it time to test it out. Thanks for sharing 🙂

You’re very welcome and thank you for commenting. I definitely recommend warming the cup so you’re not putting lovely hot chocolate into a cold cup. 👍😀

Most microwave manufacturers strongly advise against putting empty dishes etc not them. Put some water in the cup first. Thanks for the rest of the review, qvc is a good call, I’m off to see if they have any in stock.

@@CathE-YTfan Yes, hot water in the cup is definitely a good call. Hope you find one on QVC.

generally in cafe/barista circles it's known that warming milk above 65c (max allowed is 70c) ruins the taste of the milk (it has to do with heat breaking up some sort of 'sweet tasting' molecule milk (it's not fructose as I remember, but google and reliable sources are your friend in these case)

Wouldn’t advise putting an empty cup in the microwave just fill it with hot water

I guess I'd say a teaspoon is accurate if using an actual measuring teaspoon and not a eating/serving/flatware spoon. Also, I'm wondering how this machine is doing anything different than that of an electric milk frother machine? I realize this doesn't technically "froth" it up, but I'd think that if one already has a milk frother, it could really basically do the same thing. I've watched some videos on this machine and I suppose I just don't get it 🤷♀️

I believe the heating element and speed of the magnetic spinner actually creates a vortex for the chocolate to melt and incorporate into the milk. Then add to the fact that you don't necessarily have to stand over this machine and do any work as it turns itself off when ready.
