@tomhaywood8619 Awesome! Glad you will check off this item from your bucket list! :) Will you stay in the old or new hotel section?

I am in my middle 60s (a baby boomer) and an old fashioned guy so I will be staying in the old part of the hotel. I heard they offer a great brunch! I'm not sure of my dates yet, but I will be staying 5 nights! Looking really forward to it. Thanks Again!

I’m looking to using two Hilton Free Night Certs at the Del over Labor Day Weekend in 2024. I booked a room in “The Views” which i understand is the modern, new wing of the hotel. The pics looked just like your room. I’ve stayed at historical hotels in the past and I appreciate the charm; however, I tend to prefer something more modern. My favorite Hilton brand is honestly the Conrad hotels because they have that sensibility. I see that the Del has average reviews at best on some of the aggregator sites due to the costs of food/miscellaneous items and what some consider dated furnishings. I’m hoping my Hilton Aspire credit will help with the costs because $15 a day is way too insufficient to make much of a dent. Hilton should rebrand the Del at the level of a Waldorf or LXR resort to increase that credit because it really doesn’t get you much at a hotel like the Del. Thanks for the video.

Hey there! It was nice all lit up at Christmas time for sure. I believe we were able to use the 15$ there, but it's not a cheap place. I, too, prefer Conrad's and waldorfs, but this place is more for the historic charm. I seem to get a lot more value for certs in Asia. Free breakfasts and executive lounges. I hope you have a great time !! Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it :)

Fair review, your camera man need to learn how to take video, making everyone dizzy!

True, I need to check my image stabilization setting on my camera or run it through a program to smooth it out. And I deff need to take a class to learn more about photography for sure.
