Hotel Chester is probably my favourite success story out of any of Ramsay's TV shows, humble owners that took Gordon's advice and stayed the course. It's great to see them doing so well!

Yeah, such a nice couple. They fell on hard times by sheer bad luck and didn't know how to turn it around. Luckily Gordon helped them on the right course again and to see light at the end of the tunnel. So happy they are doing great again.

Layla's is permanently closed (but did end with very high reviews), Towns Inn is currently still open with very high reviews, and finally Hotel Chester is still open with a rating of 4.8 stars with over 1k reviews! These owners actually listened to Ramsey and prospered because of it.

Glad to hear that Hotel Chester is still well, and Towns Inn. At first I was really off put by Karen's attitude and huge lack of oversight for the daily operations of her Inn but to hear it doing well after the changes and seeing it still have a 4.0 rating that is nice.

Most Hotels and Restaurant with astronomical debt that Gordon helped out are than likely to declare bankruptcy and close down. Hotel Chester is 100% a success because they are the extreme few that solved their debt issue and maintained the Hotel to this day. Truly well deserved and they needed because after seeing the episode, I nearly cried tears of joy with how much help Gordon has given them.

Dave and suki deserved so much. They had nothing except the hotel. Poor suki was so overworked because of dave's accident. I'm so glad they were able to get gordons help. In all of gordons shows, there have been none as deserving as these 2 amazing people

Sadly town’s inn has deteriorated. Karan went to speak out against Gordon saying he cost them thousands of dollars. She ended up moving back in and put her clothes back in one of the room’s closets.

Hotel Chester episode was such a wholesome episode and with nice people, I live around the area. If you're ever in the area, Like the episode Gordon takes them to a local bbq place "LIL Dewey's", don't miss out and go to the place.

in regards to the towns inn, that woman is just like my grandmother (right down to the kind of “bed” she sleeps on) and all i could see when i watched her was a woman who lost all of her energy; either from disability, depression, addiction, or maybe all of it. people like that are barely surviving and they prefer it that way, they don’t want more change because it means more effort. it’s honestly sad and i hope she’s able to get help because she definitely needs it

ah yes... Layla's and Hotel Chester... two of the most cooperative hotels to Ramsay's advices. no idea about Town's Inn, because I have not watched the episode. UPDATE of 27th Aug 2022: Layla's Riverside Lodge and Hotel Chester are still open. rate: 4.5 and 4.7 consecutively. they are doing very well, thanks to Gordon's intervention in their downward spiral. Town's Inn: 3.9, not as good as the other two. anybody please tell me again that Gordon Ramsay is only capable of insulting people.

Gordon tries he's best to help thoses that want to improve, he really what people to enjoy themselves yes sometimes his sounds like a hardass, but to get people to keep coming back so a community lives. I know it's a show but he has a deeper soul then most people know, he not all about ratings he really tries to help sometimes good sometimes get a dumpster

That Karen Townsend was one of Ramsay's most ungrateful owners who should have never gone into any business whatsoever. Her partner was also somewhat deluded about how their inn was run. Karen was a low level hoarder as well adding to her delusion. I heard though the inn was sold to new owners.

I don’t know where you get these updates from but sadly Hotel Chester is not thriving at all. I’ve lived in Starkville Mississippi for the past year and Hotel Chester has been completely empty the whole time. The beer garden is gone and the restaurant is always empty. I was so excited to go because I loved their episode but it stayed pretty much the same before Gordon visited them.

Even Gordon himself admits that American TV tells him to exaggerate his character. But that's all for TV, I honestly don't think the scenes happening behind the screen are any more exaggerated than what we see on TV. I'm also sure that the owners would at least expect this to happen since they did sign their exposure away to one of the most dramatic industries.

I met the owner of the towns inn twice when I stayed in Harpers ferry two different times and I can say Gordon did her dirty on the show. They edited long clips some of the stuff was made up for tv. This lady is truly one of the nicest I’ve met in harpers ferry and that’s saying a lot since most people were extremely nice. She even gave my wife and I bottled water for free on a hot day when we visited the shop.
