They hail from Montreal, and are simply mesmerizing musically,. The CBC has a few live performances of a few of their songs: "Then again" and "Favorite boy" are absolute musts. I love your reaction, they provoke a real emotional response, I cried for joy when I first discovered them.

The string arrangement for this was surprisingly very well done. I’m a huge Half moon run fan and when I first saw this video come out I was like. “Here we go we’re adding more stupid shit to a song that was perfect as is”. But boy was I wrong. I can admit it.
