I remember not very long ago a all when they were remodeling that hotel probably within the last five years. I worked two blocks away from that hotel for 18 years. I love downtowns. They all have their pros and cons. I love historical areas. Thank you for videoing Hotel Indigo. Glad that you enjoyed your stay.

The building to the left of the Winston Tower is the R J Reynolds building. I am so old that I remember when that was the tallest building in Winston Salem.

Wow, didn't know it was once the tallest. I remember when the Truliant building said "Wachovia" at the top.

What a neat hotel. I'm surprised it's so pet friendly but glad it is. Very clean place and those high ceilings are awesome. I remember when the Dewey's Bakery mural painted on the side was more legible than it is now. I'll have to Google some history on that building. Glad yall liked the historical SHELL station. Its about 10 minutes from our house.

The house I grew up in was built in 1919..it had very high ceilings .our parents actually had the ceilings lowered about 3 feet prior to moving in. I'd love to be living in it now, as currently, our home is quite small. I don't believe I've been to Winston Salem since the 70's. Thank you for sharing the beautiful area and hotel with us😊

Survived a real hotel fire in 12/1971 in Montreal at what was the Sheraton Mont-Royal. Not fun. This place looks like a winner. Good video review. God Bless!
