Hotel Review - Highcliff Bournemouth

I spent 4 days at the Highcliff Hotel in Bournemouth. I was disappointed.

Sorry you had such a bad stay. I stayed two nights in Oct. before a cruise out of Southampton. I sprung for a newly renovated room overlooking the ocean and it was spectacular. You might give that a try. It did cost me 59 pounds more a night than what you paid, though. On the breakfast, I am surprised you didn't go with or show the station where they made omelettes and other types of eggs fresh to order. I loved it enough I booked two nights this upcoming August for my next cruise. I agree with you on the staff. They were all wonderful.

Oh dear. I'd say that was quite over priced for what you got (although I am in the US, 209 pounds is about $250 USD), a smallish room down an alley, apart from the main hotel. Even at $150 USD, I'd have thought it a little high. So sorry the breakfasts didn't live up to standard either.

That seems rather overpriced for a provincial hotel, with what seems to be rather limited facilities. I didn’t see Bath Robes and Slippers or a fridge or the offer of fresh milk, the view out was non existent. The breakfast wasn’t cooked to order. You had to stay in an adjoining building which lacked the character of the main hotel.

Breakfast was ver😢 poor! Cold and under cooked, soggy hash browns, cold plates, no eggs, - scrambled- packet taste! Bathroom no hand soap etc! Breakfast awful as you mentioned also!
