Hotel Review - Hyatt House, Plymouth Meeting, PA

While traveling on business last year, I was placed in this beautiful Hyatt property in suburban Philadelphia. Aside from a few very minor things that could be improved with the room, it was a great hotel overall. This was my first time in a high-end extended stay hotel.

Hyatt house used to be summerfield suites. In 2011 they changed the name for purposes of product recognition. Hyatt wanted to capture extended stay guests.

I stayed at the one in Irving for 2 months, for an internship. Full size standard range/oven, ordinary microwave, outside corridors, 2 bedrooms/bathrooms (they put us up w/ a roommate). The couch was smaller, and they had a coffee table. It was really nice! (downside - I can't stand the down pillows many hotels have been using lately)

I had always loved going to Plymouth Meeting Mall when I was a young kid. My parents and I would sometimes go to York Steak House for dinner.

@@ArisBuliteanu It is a Frigidaire refrigerator, which means it is technically a GE because Electrolux (the parent company of Frigidaire) also owns GE.

That place is nice. I suppose Hyatt places their hotels at very specific areas, so they know which brand will make them the most money. Great looking hotel, I really like that oven/microwave.

I really like that room! It seems pretty comfortable and the kitchen seems surprisingly usable.

+Kyle Moreland Definitely the nicest extended stay hotel I've visited. Though in fairness, most of my experience has been at much cheaper properties. I stayed at a Crossland a few months back where the kitchen was literally empty when you arrived. You had to request for them to stock it with anything.

interesting building shape. good that they let you choose how much cleaning you want. what kind of job are you training for? lacking a table is very strange. borrow list looks helpful. silverware and utensils look great. charging your cell phone at night saves time. that shower is impressive.

I have been in a hotel with this layout in Louisiana it was more modern had and island does have a coffee table and smelled like cigarettes it was a smokers room
