Thanks. Am going in Easter 2025 so was reassuring. How easy is it to get from the hotel downtown as presume we will do that a couple of times at least for days out?

Very easy, the cabs/taxis are about 20 - 30 Dirham and can take 15 - 25 mins depending on what time of the day you go. Metro once you are in town is easier to get around. Have a lovely break!

Yes different types of entertainment each night, room it is in is not huge but usually room to find seats etc

@@lt9074 the one on-site linked to the hotem is free come and go as much as you like, think it was closed Mondays. If you mean the Atlantis waterpark then I think that is quite different, we paid about £400 for family of 5 for one day but it was simply too busy for us to get on much so really needed the fast track.

Great share we are looking to book this hotel September, i jave a few questions. •Was the sunbeds comfortable? •Was the sea ok for snorkeling and swimming, only i saw one vid, wirh jelly fish. •Is the send really as bad as orthers say it is, can walk on it with no shoes on? •Did you use the metro transport or taxis and how much. - Sunbeds were comfortable enough - Sea very clear and warm to swim in, lots of little fish and a few bigger ones. Didn’t see any jellyfish. - Sand is crushed shells so a little uncomfortable under foot, you get used to it after a couple of days, if you wear sports socks or socks when walking to and back from the bar this helps. - we only used the metro transport from the Atlantis Waterpark to end of the Palm so you can view the palm. Didn’t use the main metro line up then main city street as the hotel is not that near a station. Official taxis are super cheap but the drivers are a little too confident for our liking. Use the Careem app for taxis, exactly like Uber and works very well. Hope this helps! Have a lovely time if you go!

@@Zoughi Download the app (we were iPhone users so AppStore), register with email address and ApplePay or other card details. I don't think I saw PayPal as an option from memory. For the telephone number, when you arrive in Dubai you are given a UAE sim card, much cheaper to use this and it links with your personal number too apparently, the sim has its own number so you can use this to register with Careem as well. Roaming charges are expensive on personal phones outside of UAE for most countries I believe. Hope this helps, thanks for watching. Have a great break!
