We will be travelling from the U.K. next April to this hotel for the fifth time since I have been returning we have been to a few places around the world but we find the hotel has everything to keep us entertained I love snorkelling in the warm waters just off the beach and the food is to are tastes also walking along the beach to souvenir huts fun no negotiating a bargain souvenir the hotel has got to become a second home to us

I just got back it was the best vacation I have ever had in my life it was so much to do on the resort and off it was a amazing experience I would definitely do it again.

Thanks for sharing. I heard similar comments from friends who when there. Thus I'm not surprised but obviously disappointed as I was anticipating visiting shorlty .

Thank you for sharing. I feel the same way. Stayed at this resort twice and the 2nd time I ended up with food poisoning. I'm thinking of trying Riu Montego Bay.

Sorry you got sick! A bonus of Riu Mo Bay is that it’s adults only (if you’re travelling without kids)

@MsJacksonTravels Ok, yes, I will be traveling solo. I must say the resort's nurse and doctor on call at the RIU were wonderful and empathetic. I was better in 2 days and able to complete the 10k race.

It was a party every night it was huts all down the beach also the office and other things to walk to. you can get free rides to different places . I went to Rick Cafe , 7mile and margaritasville. You can make deals for excursions on and off the beach.. lol it was so busy .they said it depends on the year you come. Please experience for your self we all have different experiences ,but let me tell you, I like to have fun and it was just that

YEA I WAS SURPRISE TO HEAR HER SAY ITS NOT THE PLACE TO PARTY. I HAD FRIENDS THAT STAYED AT RIU TROPICAL AND WOULD GO OVER TO RIU NEGRIL JUST TO PARTY EVERY NIGHT.

Very different experience than the MoBay property. Interesting that they haven’t renovated that location yet. Looks like the rooms in MoBay before they renovated the property.

It was renovated in 2015 I believe. It doesn’t quite feel like that though, does it?

Did you do any activities at all . They have a bus that takes you to 7 mile

What kind of activities? I didnt see or hear about a bus. Could definitely exist though

@MsJacksonTravels I have been in facebook groups, and it's a bus that picks you up for free in front of the hotel and takes you to 7mile, and I wanna say margaritasville I'm going to ricks Cafe too!! Did you walk along the beach to the stores and bars? Also, if you walked down the beach, you would have seen the next hotel beach, which looked beautiful

I did walk along the beach lol. There are no walkable bars or stores, other than local vendors on the beach. You need a taxi to Rick’s.
