I just love your videos, thank you for all your info. I do have a question, we have been going to Cozumel & Cancun area every year for 7 years. Well love it. This Oct. we are going to Manzanillo with 2 other couple's. Last night I seen we have a upgrades travel warning to advisory for Cancun & Cozumal. I just can't imagine this, it is so nice & the people are the greatest. Are you seeing any of this there or hearing about it. Thank you so much for all your info. My husband & I are planning on retiring in Mexico in about 8 years. You & Lori have been a BIG help. Thank you, Connie.

I gotta say pal, I've got my eye on Cambodia but you're really making me reconsider. Perhaps Mexico is the place for me. I could live well there for 15 years on my Bitcoins, plus another 16 years for what I can sell my house for (or forever if I can make 4% on that combined sum). If I go with Mexico I could bring my awesome dodge pickup and my mechanic tools. I feel naked if I'm without my tools. I'd love to live closer to the land though, ideally a Permaculture farm where vehicles and equipment break from time to time, giving me something to fix. Being a mechanic isn't just something you choose to do, it's something that you are. Even after 23 years as a mechanic, when I'm working on something I'm almost always happy. If I choose mexico I can be who I am, enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle, without getting bankrupted by obamacare and the crazy over priced medical system here in the states. You've given me food for thought.

have a look at the Yucatan state, safest in all of Mexico and very affordable. Merida is an amazing city!

We're still in Ajijic but started to make other videos around Mexico to get people more choices. That's why you're getting videos from San Miguel. Right now we're checking out Puebla Mexico and will be posting them in the upcoming months these videos.

.... am searching for a "Jerry Brown travels" video that references visa and residency requirements for retired American citizens on a pension. - keep up the good work.

It seems a tourist visa is the best way to go. So, if you're only coming for 180 days or less, just come on a tourist visa and avoid all the trouble and expenses. I guess my question is can you leave before the 180 expires and return the next day for an additional 180 days?
@JerryBrownTravels7 жыл бұрын
Yes if you returned back to the border turning your paperwork and reapply for another 180 day visa

From Guadalajara international airport to San Miguel is about 4 1/2 to 5 hour driving a car or my bus 5 hours to 5 1/2 two hours. Safe to Drive In Mexico kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYKuaZqsr9l3baM

Good to know the facts. The rooms are not attractive maybe a 1-2 star hotel in the USA. The price is therefore compatible to the USA hotels.
