I am trying to upload subtitles but there is a technical problem. Hopefully, it will be solved in a few hours. If you need subtitles to fully understand the video, please save it as "watch later" and then return with the subtitles have been uploaded. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Very helpful. I'm preparing for a job interview and i don't want to freeze when thinking of the correct term. I struggle with precision sometimes since i usually speak english in casual contexts, when people are more permissive if you can't think of the exact word. However, I'm going to need to sound very professional, otherwise clients might get frustrated.

Good luck with your interview. Don't get too nervous and just use the best English that you can. It doesn't matter if it is 100% perfect. Try for accurate language and speak with confidence. Any small errors can be easily overlooked so don't worry about it.

Good question. First of all, you should not worry about IELTS until you are confident in English. IELTS is a very advanced test. When you are ready, you can follow this guide: ted-ielts.com/a-beginners-guide-to-ielts/ Until then, work on general English through a wide range of practice methods.

@@jiyapatel8853 How about an app like Memrise? Or a local class at a school? Start with the basics and work from there. You can do it if you put in the effort.

@TEDIELTS Жыл бұрын
@@Travel-r6d It is called the passive infinitive. It is constructed "to be + past participle."
