I can tell you hands down you distress projects better than anyone I've ever seen! Distressing is a skill set for sure. It cannot be rushed. It has to be "built" by layers to get authentic result. I forgot that you brighten my Sundays, so it was a pleasant surprise to take a break from folding laundry and watch your video. I’m so stealing your idea for the mirror. My daughter doesn’t have a mirror in her room so I plan to replicate your project with a much larger mirror. Hopefully I can figure out a way to attach a faux handle. Thank you for the inspiration.

Holly, you have never failed a project, at least that's my opinion. You definitely NAILED it. That piece of wood for the Bonjour sign was too pretty to cover, lol. I use an X-acto knife for my detailed stuff, then I have a Stanley box cutter that folds. I got it from Home Depot. Thanks for the beautiful crafts as always.

I loved it so much finding the right pieces..now we r retired in Florida, and now we r all romantic beach theme..some of these things I can add To my decor easily adding sea items.... I absolutely love all of these French country diys!!! They are right up my alley. I'm constantly tweaking all the farmhouse diys on youtube to somewhat match my style. I use a lot of soft greens (like Moss from waverly) and pale yellows, the plaster color from waverly and soft blues. I have touches of gold and copper throughout my living room too. I only recently discovered that my style is a mashup of farmhouse and french country. Lol. I just thought it was my own quirkiness. Great video. You nailed all of these
