@@miriamoneal3732 I just rolled it out in thin strips and then rolled those up like a cinnamon roll, and gently smashed down the top edges of the faux petals a little bit to look like a rose. It was seriously that simple, 🤪😂

Same story as yours. Zero access to any expensive supplies. My best friend in school showed me a tiny pillow she made with a hot glue gun. Was the first time id ever seen one, since my mom didnt craft. I always loved art though. I was always drawing. As soon as i got a hot glue gun, it was over then. When i was about 15, a little boyfriend i had got me roses. I dried them, made a small wreath out of vine( muscadine since i live in the south) and glued the dried roses on. I kept that thing for years. It was cute! Anyway, experiences like those make a better crafter i think.

I grew up in the country. From a very early age, I started using my creativity to improvise. Used fabric scraps from my mom, wooden apple boxes, cardboard boxes, etc. I made my own Barbie clothes, furniture, & townhouse. I also started making my own gifts from whatever I could find. I can't remember not creating. My first apartment was furnished by using anything I could turn into furniture & decor

The bunny you did at the end n the one where you used the noodle n cut up half of the hearts n wrapped with jute. That was so sweet. Can I just say I loved that you didn’t go for the cartoony type Easter decore. Beatrix Potter is exactly what you achieved on these projects. They are all just soooo lovely. I would decorate my home with these crafts specifically bc you captured a whimsical, but not cartoonish theme. Everything was just perfect for any decor style. Thank you so very much for sharing!!!
