I missed calculate the lye in this video. Lye should be 89g instead of 84g. Please adjust yourself. It will look more transparent if you try that. Please also watch my newer video for the adjusted result.

zhajoura1987 it’s not a must to cure in the air, if you had watched my playdough soap, we also cure in the plastic bag. Curing time is same as regular CP, 4-6 weeks.

If i replace the water with Apple Cider Vinegar, will that change the transparency?

When you mix vinegar (acid) with sodium hydroxide (base), Neutralization reaction happens. Sodium acetate would form. You will never get Sodium stearate (soap) when you substitute water with vinegar.

Ross' Angel Saboaria I checked the soap I made 2weeks ago, it was about 9.5. And it is not harsh at all after wash. Castor soap could make a great shampoo bar. :)

Y Chape thanks for watching! Wait 1-2 day to unmold and cut. Then you could wrap and cure for 1 month. Keep the wrap on until you use it.

Saroua Mansouri please check the problem solving video for your questions. 0 superfat may feel too dry for the skin, that’s why I do two batches in one soap, I did the superfat in the none transparent batch. By the way you may try this soap on your hair. It feels amazing for hair.

if you added sugar water + little bit of glycerine to this would the sugar water burn during gel causing soap to loose transparency? I ask as that might make this remeltable at least once. remeltable even once would make this amazingly functional ie an all natural Melt and pour base. i assume majority of the heat for gel phase that caused transparency is due to the soap being in the log form ...if u had poured it into individual molds then there may not have been adequate heat.what do u think?

you are talking about the HP method which can be done by adding sugar water glycerine and alcohol. This video is cold process method, which can not be remelt and pour. I might do the HP method in the future.

You need to wait for the temp to drop down under 30c. How long is really depends on how you mix your lye.

I try but my soap its not transparence but white :v What i do for not creat same ? >.< My calculation table scares and puts your measurements in red, which calculation table do you have? I can't see the same measurement as you I tried with another oil by referring to the indices of saponifiable oils. And that doesn't change anything Do u have any advice ? Thank you very much :)

Thank you for watching. The soap is not sticky, it does feel dry when you touch it. However if you want to keep the transparent look, you need to wrap it all the time.

Abigail Rachel thank you for watching, please check the watermelon swirl video. It’s the effect of adding red to transparent soap. The more color you are adding the less transparency it would become.

Wanna ask.. I try your recipe and i do the 24hour in warm box. It does transparant but i can't unmold cause still soft, especially the bottom part of soap mold. I'm using silicone mold so i can feel the soap. How long can it be unmold? Should i take any longer times to let it hard enough?
