I own both and it's not leagues above the Mooer Ge200, but does have a little bit more presence and, overall, seems to have a touch more of a scoop (while remaining super clear) on the overall EQ than does the Mooe..., which I know how to make the Mooer sound exactly the same if I want, but that's what the Ampero is for. Direct recording, USB, the Ampero sounds better but in my experience, when running into the return of the effects loop of my amp, and with the latest firmware update: amp model, Freidman, the GE200 sounds a touch better to me, more organic. Plus, not many people know how to dial in a great high gain amp sound on the Mooer GE200...there are a couple of little tricks and for some reason, nobody mentions them on their videos, even though I can tell they have found some of the things I have to make it sound better and are clearly using them and failing to mention them. I understand them wanting their video to sound better than the next guys', which is maybe prompting them to keep their findings to themselves and just post the typical settings such as bass, treble, mids, presence, gain? I really think the Ampero and GE200 are almost equal..the Ampero is a hair brighter, and the drum samples are a little clearer, but the Mooer sounds equally good IMO, and despite not having touch screen, to me, is a lot easier and less time consuming to scroll or write a patch. But to be fair, I haven't learned some of the shortcuts, "hotkeys" or whatever on the Ampero, which undoubtedly would make it a little faster to scroll...but all in all, I love both of them equally, and considering the price, even more than any other effects units I've tried or heard. I'm an old guy picking it back up after a long hiatus, so I'm blown away and completely amazed by these tiny but, heavy duty, super nice, powerful units that cover everything you need. Also for $30, I can make the Mooer sound EXACTLY like the Ampero if I want capturing near perfect the highs and the overall scooped EQ that the Ampero naturally has. Awesome video and thanks!

I'm hoping they will make a 10-12 button footswitch version of this, not saying this is not good, its versatility for live use with more foot switch. getting this very soon and thank you for the demo by the way..

Thanks for all these videos mate, sounds awesome. If I end up buying one it will be to use as amp/cab sim on the end of a pedalboard (Plus maybe some reverb), the same way that people are using the HX Stomp. Have you tried this with pedals infront? Is it worth getting this for that purpose? or just an xtomp

Can we change the position of effect before n after the amp? I see 3 button n 1 ctrl so it had 3 preset in a bank?

There is a firmware update coming for changing effects order, you can set the Ampero up to have three presets and the ctrl button can be used to toggle between tap tempo or engaging 3 selected blocks for the current preset.

Are you referring to top wrapping strings over the stoptail on a LP? Or dampening strings for two hand tapping?

i like the Mooer Black Truck better only thing the Black Truck is missing is like someone else said a looper and an expression pedal..

It's also missing the ability to turn several effects on/off at the touch of a button or moving the pedal. In the Ampero you can assign the delay, gain and master level to the expression pedal for lead sounds based on your current preset, for example.
