I got an ampero seven months ago to sub for my Headrush which needed repairs. I have been using the Ampero only, since getting it. I love the editor. I love the sounds I can get. Like I have found with other modelers, best sound and feel comes from using mostly amp gain, and pedals for a little drive when needed. I also like the Xotic style boost pedal models they have. So good at front of signal chain! Thanks for your review!

I like how you presented the product. Not too much playing and showing off. Subbed!

So you can’t create and save new preset, you have to save it into existing preset? What if I want to change and existing preset slightly and put it next to the original one to use them together interchangeably. Is it possible?

Since I’ve had mine I can’t get anything to work right on the pedal. No matter how I assign it.. it won’t change from the volume pedal! I’ve been trying to get it to be a wah, but it’s not working. Could you show how to do that? I would appreciate it

Hi, cool video, thanks, can you show us the drum section, playing along with the looper. Is it possible the have some kind of "bass" sound using an octaver (if there's one). Also the acoustic simulation (if it's not too much to ask :-). Thank you .
@noisetoysimportstv12485 жыл бұрын
We just released a Cab IR film, next on the agenda is the Looper + MIDI control so I'll sneak a bit of drum machine in there for you.

So, in order to make your own patch, you have to override an factory preset? Can you just add your own, without deleting a factory preset and if you can, how many? Thank you

Wow! Is there a way to copy P01-1 to P04-3? Absolute best tutorial for creating a patch from scratch!🎼🎶🎵🎸👏🏽
@riccardocampana14893 жыл бұрын
I believe the only way to copy and paste presets is to connect the ampero to your pc and use the ampero editor app. If you don't have it you can just download it from the ampero store for free, makes building patches 10x easier

Great Great tutorial. Much appreciated. Question: Can you assign one universal effect to the CTRL foot switch? That is, say, in whatever bank or patch you are in, when you step on CTRL, you get the same effect everytime added to the patch - be it a reverb, phaser, boost, delay, etc. Any idea?
@noisetoysimportstv12484 жыл бұрын
You would need to manually save the effect block you wanted to do that with in each patch. So it would seem like a global preset but in actually fact it would be the same effect programmed to the CTRL button in each patch.

Hi , Would it be possible that the CTRL button is always with the Tap Tempo activated? and that it is not deactivated when changing preset? excuse my google translate english thanks

Great video, can you show some of the midi function ?
@noisetoysimportstv12485 жыл бұрын
Sure will, I was thinking about doing a vid on the Looper and use an external MIDI controller to access all the features
@DolfMuccillo5 жыл бұрын
Didn’t it just overwrite the original preset at that location? How do you create a brand new preset and then how do you access it from the pedal?
@noisetoysimportstv12485 жыл бұрын
There is a duplicate of the factory presets in the user preset slots, you do just overwrite them but the original sound will still be in the factory list. You can recall presets with the bank up and down buttons or with MIDI PC numbers if you’re using a MIDI controller.

@Mark Seymour I think they missed this bit of information in the manual. If I reset the unit the preload user still is loaded ??????. This is the only place this bit of information is printed.

I just bought One...Sounds way better than my POD-HD500X But...I do not like the drum machine and I am having a software bug..when I click on the lower patches the editor shuts down.
@ashishjoel23544 жыл бұрын
Hai! I have a pod hd500x as well and wanted to upgrade to a smaller unit but with no compromise tones. Was really interested in the hotone ampero. Is it more intuitive to use than the pod? Cause that was one of my main concerns..it had too many things for my need. Wanted something easier and with better tones.
@stevemoore63494 жыл бұрын
I just bought this unit.sold my pod go because of the tone qualities and ease of use. The pod go was just too many loops to jump through. I have dialed in some sick brutal chugg tones and haven't even downloaded anything from the web. ALSO,,,NICE JOB ON THE DEMMO.A+ I NOW SUBSCRIBE

Where are the user patches? How do you create a "Blank Patch?
@noisetoysimportstv12484 жыл бұрын
The factory patches are duplicated in the user menu, just select one, make some changes and overwrite it as your own.

I had a HElix for 2 years and I sold it, the helix is great but it was just a bit to much for this couch potato guitarist . The Ampero sounds great but we need to remember, if you don't set up your own patches for your amp /speaker configuration, other writers patches will not sound as advertised unless you have the same equipment the as the writer of the patch. They all need to be tweaked. This was the same with the Helix.
@tyskers5 жыл бұрын
I think they missed this bit of information in the manual. If I reset the unit the preload user still is loaded ??????. This is the only place this bit of information is printed. The difference between user and factory . Maybe a F / U slots would be Bank A set of 3 patches is called a “bank”. Ampero has a total of 66 banks, including 33 editable player (user) banks and 33 factory banks (F01- F33), which can be adjusted by not saved. other that nada.. I pulled my hair out for a couple days..... I think if I would have connected to the USB editor I would have figured this out faster. Noticed in his video the patch title is BLANK. It should be sold with blank users slots...I think

Can you have it display your patch name in large font and the "P0!-!" or whatever in small? I don't care what the patch number is, I want quick visual reference when playing live-, like "CLEAN', 'CLEAN FX', 'WAH SOLO' or song names etc etc.

Be aware not to create too much presets, or will have to deal with the nonexistence of true preset manager. You can move/ insert presets to organize them...
