Hotone KRUSH Bitcrusher/Sample Rate Reducer Demo

A demonstration to show the range of sounds of the Hotone KRUSH Bitcrusher/Sample Rate Reducer.
The guitar recordings in this video have been made with a Marshall MA50C, picked up with a Sennheiser e840S and enriched with stereo chorus, delay and reverb to add ambience.
The BOSS Loop Station was used to save the original sound without the tube amp and additional effects. I made separate line recordings and you can find these on my website. You can send these mono recordings to your own guitar amp to get an idea how the Hotone KRUSH could sound with your setup.

Ein Demovideo, um das Klangspektrum des Hotone KRUSH Bitcrusher/Sample Rate Reducer zu demonstrieren.
Die Gitarrenaufnahmen in diesem Video wurden mit einem Marshall MA50C gemacht, abgenommen mit einem Sennheiser e840S und angereichert mit Stereo Chorus, Delay und Hall, um den Klang räumlicher zu gestalten.
Die BOSS Loop Station wurde benutzt, um den Originalklang ohne den Röhrenverstärker und die zusätzlichen Effekte zu sichern. Ich habe separate Line-Aufnahmen damit erstellt und ihr könnt diese auf meiner Website finden. Diese Mono-Aufnahmen könnt ihr dann an euren eigenen Gitarrenverstärker senden, um einen Eindruck davon zu bekommen, wie der Hotone KRUSH mit eurem Equipment klingen könnte.

I appreciate the price point on these because I just don't see bit crushing as a $200 effect. It's a shame they are out of production. Although I think the Sonicake may be identical.

Oh, you seem to be absolutely right about Sonicake. I knew that they were selling some of the Hotone Skyline pedals, but I wasn't aware that they have an entire pedal line. It's great to see the KRUSH living on in this more than affordable Sonicake Wave Crush. Thank you, that's very good information! I also have an Alesis Bitrman, but for guitar the KRUSH is simply the best solution. I also prefer it for playing synthesizers on stage instead of taking the Bitrman with me.

@@PepeMusic yeah I was in the market for a Krush and people kept saying they were basically identical. Just now I bought the first used Hotone Krush I've seen online in a minute. $48 isn't too bad I imagine I can resell it for at least $60 if I need the money back haha. This is gonna be fun

Great pedal! Something I did notice is that if you go above 12 o'clock on 2 of the three knobs at the same time, the noise and tone gets gnarly. This demo proofs that to keep this pedal "under control" you gotta follow that unspoken rule (avoid 12 on 2 of the 3 settings at any time).
