I just ate a ghost pepper today, and now watching this video, I had a very similar reaction. When Arin said, "This is one of the not coolest things." I totally got it. I'm sure that was the time that his face started tingling, and the pain was probably miserable. When I ate it, my mouth was in torture. I actually had a worse reaction. I lasted about 1 minute before I felt like I was dying, so I drank a half gallon of milk. Every glass of milk I drank down, it only soothed me for a few seconds. That was horrible. I drank almost 3/4 a gallon of milk in like 5 minutes. So I threw up twice. One time right after the chugging of milk, and another time like 10 minutes later because holy fuck that milk was not sitting well with the pepper. Tomorrow morning I might edit this comment to let you all know how my after-ghost-pepper shits come out. I've heard it's extraordinary. Edit: Turns out the shit was not bad. I probably threw up most of the ghost pepper anyway, so my shits were fine. EDIT: I will say, that his ghost pepper looks WAY juicier than mine. Like, mine was a small round, fairly hard mess. I dunno if they were just a bit aged, or what. It wasn't even the same shape as that one, so I have no idea if my ghost pepper was hotter or not than ego's.

Jeremy West Actually the scorpion pepper, carolina reaper, and chocolate bhutlah among others are hotter than the ghost pepper. The ghost is the former hottest pepper in the world. I'm a chilehead so I know way too much about hot peppers lol.
